South Cliff Dental Group, Dover

Excellent service and treatment. This practice has very polite and courteous receptionists that talk to you as you are a human being.I have previously had many problems over the past 5 years with other dentists in the town who didn't treat my teeth properly which led to problems that have been resolved today. My dentist at South Cliff listened to everything I mentioned and he acted accordingly rectifying neglect left from dentists from two other practices that were dreadful. I am glad to finally have a good dentist that I feel comfortable and at ease with. Confident my teeth are now being treated well. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 hence the 5 star's. Many thanks, greatly appreciated.

Reception team are lovely and helpful but my appointment was 45 minutes late not great when I’m using a lunch break.Maybe a phone call or text message to notify patients would be useful so have the choice to amend appointment.Dentist was apologetic and nice.

Never picking up the phone. Called for 3 days straight to speak to reception and every time you stay on hold it rings and asks you to leave a message. This message never gets returned. So far I have called morning and afternoon and no one has got back to me. (Total of 3 messages left across 3 days) Seems like you always have to go into the clinic to book an appointment or talk to someone which is not ideal.The dentists are great and all the treatment I have had is amazing but the customer service/ reception side lacks and sets the clinic back. Wish it was better really.

My old dentist went back home during Covid so no dentist since. Was amazed to find NHS vacancies here so signed up. First appt as new patient today, just a check-up but mentioned my mouth guard was rubbing; she said we’ll sort the mould for a new one today & did. Couldn’t fault receptionist or dentist & dental nurse - all polite & patient. Grateful to finally have a dentist on hand.

I am a very nervous patient. But from the reception team to the nurses and dentist and hygienist they are brilliant and very understanding. I've had very bad experiences with dentists in the past. But I'm finding I'm alot calmer now when going to them. I would highly recommend this dentist.

Reception staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful. I felt a bit pressured to pay for a private hygiene clean but trusted the dentist and paid for it. The clean was over in 4 minutes and only my front teeth cleaned, it’s only when I compared my clean to the one my husband had with a different dentist at the same practice that I realised I didn’t get what I paid for at the cost of £65! His clean lasted much longer.. Not happy. The female dentist I had was a bit rushed with my treatment, she appeared to be a bit panicked..She struggled a lot doing my filling but eventually managed it..

Always running behind time. I went for a check up, told I needed one filing. Not sure my teeth would have deteriorated that quickly since my last visit? Made another appointment with the receptionist for a couple of weeks time. Very accommodating as it fitting around my work schedule. What I'm not happy about having to pay up front treatment for this before leaving the clinic. Is this legal? What happens if someone doesn't have the money to pay up front. Perhaps I'm old school and always pay after any work has been done, and to my satisfaction. This practice is the only NHS dental practice in the Dover area now. We need more, not less, otherwise where is the choice.

After over 50 years of dentist fear I've finally found a dentist that doesn't make me shake!Each visit has been welcomed by the lovely receptionist with beautiful black and red hair, the dentist nurses are always cheery and the dentist himself smiles, chats and actually tells you what he's doing. Now going to the dentist is finally not a panic. Thank you

Nikolas is brilliant very polite and caring and puts you at ease. Explains everything very well. Staff on reception polite and courteous. Very clean and tidy environment.Highly recommend this dentist.
