My Victorian barometer was beautifully repaired and restored very promptly by David Bearcroft.He thought one of the external decorative pieces had been previously repaired and was not very well done so he made a new piece which looked and fitted much better , and made the whole appearance more balanced. Very very pleased with the result!

No reply to my email. Someone needs to remove the website as he clearly is not working. Very shabby. Tried about two years ago, too, so not a short term issue. Guess this review won't even slightly interest him.

After telling me he would be in for me to drop of my barometer to be repaired, I drove to Ipswich 35 miles and Mr Bearcroft was not in! I waited and called and got no reply.. I was worried something had happened and left a message.. still no reply a wasted 70 mile round trip .. I would not recommend

David repaired a grandfather clock, a smaller grandmother clock and a mantle clock for us.All 3 were restored brilliantly at very reasonable cost. Such a talented man.A very big thank you as all 3 are performing perfectly.We would highly recommend David for anyone wanting clock repairs.

Recently had a lovely French clock repaired by David. He made an excellent job of the repair and gave me advice on how to transport it, set it up and look after it. Will definitely make use of his skills in the future.

My clock was previously in very poor condition after years in a garage but it now both looks and runs superbly after David's restoration. Not only is David a thoroughly nice fellow but it's clear he has a dedication and genuine love for his craft. He also went the extra mile helping me both learn about my clocks history and ensuring it was properly fitted in my home. I couldn't recommend him to others more.

I gave David 5 very different clocks to repair and service and he, as always did a fantastic job and very timely (pardon the pun!) fashion. He will always call if there is a problem which could be expensive before going ahead if preferred. I highly recommend him.

Really pleasant and professional expert. Dave managed to repair and improve a clock belonging to an elderly neighbour. The clock was of great sentimental value and Dave was sensitive to this throughout. Great communication, swift service and easy to do business with even during lockdown ! Highly recommended.

David has serviced and repaired my 90 year old Westminster Chime Clock which hasn't worked for several years. I found the service to be very professional with sound and knowledgeable advice from someone who is obviously an expert in his trade! The clock is now working perfectly, thank you.
