Thought I'd give supporting a local bike shop a go and picked up a couple of items, but they didnt stock everything I needed.The owner and a young member of staff were absolutely fine, but unfortunately the 3rd member of staff was unhelpful and made sarcastic comments.

My hubby was hit by a car and it screwed the front wheel up. From start to finish, the process of getting it repaired has been great & easy. Collecting it 24hrs after taking it in. Definitely recommend going here and it's always better to support smaller businesses (our experience with Halfords a few years ago was awful).

Really helpful, good value and great service. Went in for a few bike repairs after being let down on an appointment by Halfords. Will now go to Petes cycles for any future bike maintenance, would fully recommend :)

A couple of days ago I managed to break the chain on my bike. I took it to Pete’s cycles to hopefully get it fixed there and then and I was told at the bike shop that I wouldn’t be able to get it fixed until the end of next week, so I asked what I would need to do it my self. Without looking at my chain I was told my old chain was unfixable. I was then told to buy a chain tool and new chain tool for £60. When I learnt how to install the chain I released I could use the same quick link part to fix my old chain. After knowing this I tried to return the brand new chain and chain tool to the bike shop and was told it could not be returned as it had been used even though they were only bought two days before. Overall I would recommend doing your own research on how to fix your bike first and definitely buy your bike parts online where they are a fraction of the price and places like Amazon will except returns no questions asked.Will not being using again

Had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Will) the other day, learning that he'd taken over the existing business some time back and made some great improvements to include a huge range of products in store. How brilliant to be able to pop in, get expert advice on products and take them away same day. Thanks again Will, see you soon :-)

Superb have bought some Jerseys off this chap and bargain prices and extremely good quality! Highly recommended Store!! If only i lived a bit closer I would pop in instead of buying online. :)

I used to use Giant in Bradley Stoke but during the pandemic Giants customer service went a bit down hill. Peter Cycles has a faster turn around and my bike rode like a knife through butter after its service!

Brilliant shop. Loads of competitively priced bikes and kit. It's definitely worth a visit.
