British Reptiles Rescue

Do not recommend tried phoning and texting them.No reply.Unfriendly.Unprofessional.clearly have no interest in rescuing different types of reptiles.

I rescued 2 sister beardies who were housed together with the intent of separating them but things happen and 1 year down the line they were still living together . After lots of thinking I decided I had to let them go. Even though they were very well looked after it wasn't fair on them to be living together. I couldn't stand the thought of giving them away for homing to a total stranger so after many hours/days of investigation, reading reviews I decided to give british reptiles rescue a buzz. Explained my situation and they were happy to recieve them. Although I think they were expecting a pair of unhealthy beardies and looked kinda shocked that they were healthy. I checked out there lizards to see they were being looked after, and as was expected all the lizards were being very well cared for which put my mind at rest. I got to say big thanks to them on taking 2 fully grown beardies at such short notice. I know you will care for these.

Great service, they looked after our tortoise over the Christmas period and kept him safe and we received regular communication and photos. They looked after our tortoise for as long as we needed as we had an emergency and couldn't bring him home straight away. Thank you.

I unfortunately had to rehome my gecko's Brandon is polite the communication was really good, he showed me and my boy some of the animals he has rehome. He was very good with them and very knowledgeable we wish him well

Brandon provides an excellent service.He obviously cares deeply for reptiles and has such a lot of knowledge about them.We felt very happy re housing our son’s blue tongued skink with him and would warmly recommend him.

Recently rehomed my leopard gecko to this rescue lovely owner love what hes doing. Recommend this rescue highly.

We had a spur thigh tortoise who we could no longer properly care for due to ill health. Brandon from British reptiles rescue was amazing, he instantly wanted to help and offered every support possible and was very understanding that it wasn’t that we didn’t love our tortoise we simply could no longer provide for the tortoise to the standard he deserved. Brandon was not judgemental in any way and arranged everything needed for him to rehome our tortoise and give him a better life with top of the range care . We were so grateful and amazed how kind and friendly Brandon was and his obvious love for animals. We also can contact Brandon for updates on how the tortoise is doing and even get pictures which is great .

Thank you so much for taking on the bearded dragon, it’s great to see him being given a new home with someone who knows what they’re doing.
