This is an out of the way M&S, very clean and has a sense of newness. The products are displayed well so it is easy to find your chosen products. Staff were friendly and courteous. The only negative side is the price, otherwise the quality is superb.

Great to have another food shopping option in Royston! To be honest, I didn't even realise they were open yet until chatting to someone in a local takeaway: I'd not previously seen any adverts for staff or 'grand opening' messages.I've now visited and was impressed. Clearly it's only just opened, but it's clean and bright inside, with a logical layout and the usual high-quality M&S produce. There was a large display of fresh flowers, but maybe this is just because Valentine's Day is just around the corner.I visited in the evening - about 7.30pm - and there were a number of other customers present, but not 'busy'; it's early days yet though.I do wonder if parking will be an issue, especially once the Aldi next door opens. We'll have to see.Overall: good to have you in Royston, M&S!

It's okay. Disappointing range of vegetarian meal options, though. There's also some sort of unholy pairing with Aldi going on - no good will come of it, you mark my words.

Really let down by a rude lady working in the store over the weekend. I was here to collect something and after ringing the bell and waiting for a long time I politely asked if someone would be able to help me and in front of a line of customers this member of staff raised her voice at my telling me they are short staffed and to be patient. After collecting my items I did go back to her and told her not to be so rude next time. I only asked nicely, it’s not my issue if you are short staffed. You only had to say it nicely back.

This M&S is small, but the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I always opt to click and collect anything I buy from M&S on line and this is my preferred store to collect from.Despite their small size they still have a great selection of food in all departments.The store is always clean, tidy. And well laid out. The only thing that lets it down is the chaotic car park - but that is not M&S fault - it’s a shared park with Aldi, and is just poorly designed.

I hate the self serve tills! Ran into pick up a few bits and the tills weren’t working and no member of staff to help. Only two actual tills open although one about to close so we queued 5 mins to pay and when we v nicely told the staff member that there was an issue with the self serve tills she clearly didn’t care. So frustrating - spent £60 and had rubbish service

Good sized M&S parking good no customer toilets from what I could see has self scans and 4 tills staff friendly.

My mum and I came here on Christmas Eve. There were plenty of good offers, probably why it was hard to move around in there.We queued up to pay at the till, and just as we were nearing the front, a woman beckoned us over to the self checkout saying she’d help and it would be quicker.The first item failed to scan, the second item failed to scan, and so on. She said “oh yeah the yellow labels are a bit dodgy” so she gave us two options, either have her enter the codes manually or go to the back of the queue, now quite long.Naturally we said we’d rather she entered them manually. She said it would take too long… Ironic considering we had to spend another 15 minutes in the queue after that. I suppose her time is more important than ours.So basically we were at the front of the queue, she made us leave the queue, then sent us to the back of the queue. I was very annoyed, what a waste of time.

Not a huge store but just the right size to be able to get your weekly shopping. Can normally get everything I want with only occasionally something not available. Dates could be slightly longer but they have good turnover of products so can usually get things to last through the week. Staff are always pleasant, smiling and helpful. Two ladies in particular Katie and Kelly always recognise me and my husband and always ask how we are. They always help if we can't find something (sometimes the store change things around) and are always jolly. It is a pleasant experience shopping at this store and we would not shop anywhere else for our weekly shopping.

A great addition to royston providing an additional place to shop. M&S is directly next to Aldi and has a fair amount of parking directly outside.While driving you can get to M&S either via orchard road if you're already in royston. Or exit on the slip road off the A505 if driving south towards London.M&S food hall is a little bit small however does provide a decent amount of food/wine options and has a small fresh bakery option at the back of the hall.There is also a pick up option here, so all online orders that they don't sell in-store, such as clothing items can be picked up in store at the customer service desk.
