Beautiful for an autumn walk, quiet even on a bright Saturday afternoon. Wide range of native trees, interesting fungus, variety or terrains and gradients. There are no signs or arrows to keep you heading in the right direction, you have have to start walking and hope for the best.

I walk here almost every day, it does get quite busy at times, I prefer it when it's quiet. Now it is national trust I think it would be manageable for them to have a dog waste bin placed at either side of the monument or at the entrance to the woods to encourage people to use them as it is becoming quite an issue on the paths

Stunning little postage stamp of a wood, you can tell it's a refuge for wildlife, sounded gorgeous. Such a shame it's so small and surrounded by massive monoculture deserts. Thank goodness these refuges still exist.
