I am a beginner climber and Brett did a fantastic job of making sure the routes we did were suitable for my skill level. Very professional, knowledgeable and lots of fun. Highly recommend!

We booked a morning’s family rock climbing including our 5 and 8 year old sons. We also had a 6 month old baby who my husband and I took turns looking after at the bottom. Brett was very patient with our children (and us!) and we had a great morning. I was totally confident about the safety aspects and Brett knew what he was doing. Overall a great experience and we will be back for more until we can manage on our own.

Great afternoon learning to climb at Harrison rocks. Brett was extremely professional but also gauged the level of our mixed ability group making it challenging for all but most of all fun. Lots of laughter, great exercise and a sense of achievement with just the right amount of encouragement. Thank you Brett and Lily.

Brilliant family activity! This was a birthday present for our climbing crazy 12 year old son but our 14 year old daughter, my husband and I all thoroughly enjoyed it too! Brett was a great instructor and gave us all a really good time. We felt as though we were in very safe hands, whilst being challenged and learning new skills, and the afternoon flew by! Good value for money. We would highly recommend this for family groups or larger groups alike. Thanks so much Brett

Brett was awesome. I did two lessons covering 6 hours. It was totally needed to feel I could go anywhere, feel safe and to have had a good level of training. Thanks Brett for helping me achieve a life goal.....off to Portland this weekend with friends and feel a tonne more confident and with the skills I need.

Friendly and patient tuition from Brett for our first time managing ropes on the rocks outdoors. Good fun to boot. Heartily recommend and we'll definitely be back.

We booked two private 2 hour sessions for two 8 yo boys with Extreme Ventures over a single weekend, with the primary aim of building my son's confidence issues. Brett's patience and calm approach was excellent. Technically, he really knew his stuff and was extremely safety conscious. As importantly, he clicked with the boys and got the focus exactly right; and, with his lovely dog, Lily, certainly knew his way round the rocks. My son managed 2 rope climbs and completed some rock scrambling courses, which he had refused even to attempt when attending a birthday party a year ago (different company). A real success and we are already planning to return. Thanks Brett, an absolutely brilliant weekend!

We celebrated my daughter's 13th birthday with a scrambling party; I thoroughly recommend this place if you're looking for something different. Brett, our instructor, and his dog, Milo, were fantastic and made the experience great fun for everyone. Thank you - I think some of the group are now even going to look to do some climbing in the future!
