Lovely Quiet Site. Peace Quiet With A River Running Through Lots Of Lovely Waterfalls. Great for plodging. Lush caretakers Pat & John. Pub in the village with food. Lush Walks.

This place is great. Has loads of snack food and a hot drinks machine. No minimum charge on card machine. Great opening hours!

How does anyone get about the centre of Gateshead in a car any more? The local council are obsessed with half a dozen cyclists an hour on the roads to the detriment of drivers who sit in traffic pumping out pollution whilst getting nowhere. Some of us are not physically able to walk far let alone ride a bike! All the way to Redheugh bridge roundabout and back again to get to Wilko if your on the wrong side of the carriageway is madness!

IT'S A GOOD HANDY NEWS AGENTS IN THE BUS STATION TO QUICKLY GO INTO AND DO YOUR LOTTERY TICKETS AND PICK UP DRINKS ETC USUALLY 2 PEOPLE ON THE TILLS SO YOU CAN BE IN AND OUT IF YOUR RUSHING FOR A BUS

You can get your news paper from here and you can get magazines to and sweets and chocolates and Pop and water and cigs and lottery tickets and they used to have a pay point but now you have to go to Jackson Street news and post office to do your payments and they do check how old you are for the cigs so that you don't get any of the kids asking you to go in for them and the other shops are just around the corner so that you can get your other bits and bobs

Pretty good place for a quick purchase on items, staff are friendly and always have unique products available, just downside would be the opening and closing times, its not specific on when it's open, think its between 9AM to 5PM, unsure though.

This is a great little shop. Ideally placed in Gateshead interchange. This is primarily a news agent. Whith a good selection of stock. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Clean interchange. helpful bus drivers. Only problem is you sit in side waiting for the bus. And people with prams and smokers going out the door and jump the que. It's OK if bus is empty.. It's still a nice place to have a day out and catch connections to seasides' ferries ' hospitals' Newcastle ' Chester-le- Street. Durham Sunderland and Middlesbrough' museums' you can use the metro train station one level down and you can get to Newcastle Airport or the football fc grounds. Where you enter the interchange there is always taxis waiting. And even be picked up on coaches for day and holidays . There is Toilets and a shop for papers and things for the bus.....!
