Sole Trader

Amazing service, despite us poping in just before closing hours. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable and happy to help. She is patient, attentive, in summary just the sort of person you want to find in a shop, especially when buying things for children! The shoes were lovely, both good quality and looks. Prices are similar to those found elsewhere - £50 for a pair of leather school shoes. Happy child, happy mum. Will definitely come back.

Not impressed, the staff were extremely immature and unhelpful. My experience was poor to say the least. I walked into the store and the first thing I noticed was young girl on her smart phone.But we all know how important it is to finish a text...right? I’m Not sure on that one when she was clearly meant to be working. Not sure how her manger would feel about that:/The other thing that struck me was the constant giggling that filled the shop from all the staff. I believe it was due to the fact that another female staff member to brushing the floor with a broom, but instead of sweeping to make the shop more presentable for customers she proceeded to chase other staff members around the store, presumably trying to trip them up. (For a laugh)And last but not least... I asked for a shoe that I wanted to try on before buying. However little miss text didn’t have the time for me and said we don’t have any other sizes and asked if wanted them to be ordered in. I understand that they may not have the size I wanted but she hadn’t checked (just to show the customer she wanted to help).I left promptly after to spend my money elsewhere, which I did:)All the best with your store but I would strongly recommend new staff and to improve your interviewing methods.

As we were looking for a special pair of shoes for my girlfriend's upcoming birthday, their expertise and dedication were truly appreciated.Their patience and attention to detail were remarkable, as they brought out various options for us to consider.In the end, we left the store not only with a smile on our faces but also with a beautiful pair of shoes that my girlfriend absolutely adored. The excellent customer service at Sole Trader made the entire shopping trip enjoyable and stress-free. The collection is not huge but you will get what you want. Amazing staff. I would go there again because of the attentive and amazing staff. Could not find many options but it was good as you have less confusion to choose from. Many brands.

Stock and variety is nothing like it used to be, good shop and reasonably priced

Visited the store on the off chance today, I often impulse buy and can be impatient some times and dont like to faff about.Found a lovely pair of boots but my size not in stock, for the first time I actually gave my details and placed an order for the correct size. This was all down to some very good selling skills & knowledge from the assistant Tegan, as at first when knew not in stock was getting ready to walk back out, real asset to your store & company and deserves some recognition.LydiaI

Don't go unless there is a sale. Mostly other brands at full price.
