Llanyrafon Golf Course

I've given this place 4 stars as it's not the best course in the world if you are an avid golfer but if like me you just want a knock around a golf course once in a while it's brilliant! At £5 for a round of 9 and a not to strict dress code you can't go wrong! No drivers necessary but a really fun afternoon out!

Course in a right state virtually unplayable but would be great if had good ground care and better maintained

Would give 0 stars if it was possible. Came out in the sun for a nice round of golf. Course was unplayable. Dirt mounds everywhere. Greens not tended too. Rough was just overgrown grass. Unless you hit the ball dead straight you’ve lost it. Better off classing it as a pitch and put as you can’t use anything over a wedge because the holes are too small. Absolute shambles. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Haven't played there for a few years and it used to be a lovely 9 hole course with everything being well maintained. However played today and wouldn't play it again. Fairways like rough. Rough unplayable. Bunkers are now over grown with weeds unplayable. And the greens.... no point even trying to put... cracks holes mostly mud. Only £5 but don't bother pay a bit more to play a good course

Course is in a terrible state. No bunkers,greens are unplayable. Not worth the 5 pound to be honest.

Took my daughter here today, as she is keen on starting to play golf. Now i know a lot of courses have had a hard time with the hot weather but the greens havnt seen a drop of water via sprinkler or hose..... The fairways havnt been mowed the bunkers, well i think they were suppised to be bunkers were nothing but weed beds. Personally i would have been embarrassed to take any money off anyone turning up to play. Makeshift plastic 3 ft poles representing flag poles, each green had at least 2 holes to aim at if the big cracks in the greens didnt swallow your ball..... To say the least i was very disappointed with what was presented as a so called chip n putt golf course......

Course is in a terrible condition considering how long it's been shut, you're teeing off on mud and my lawn is better than their greens. Only good side is the price for a 9 hole round hasn't gone up ........ yet

Five stars for potential. Its a lovely nine short-hole course set in mature woodland. The greens are secluded spaces with undulating, often bumpy, fairways approaching them. These fairways have frequent areas of dead ground into which yer balls, so to speak, vanish with baffling effect. It can't have just vanished; it MUST be here somewhere!!!!?". The rough is really
