Fantastic service & great support in particular from Cathy with my EOY Tax Return. As I work remotely for a non-UK company & manage payroll via the DPNI scheme, I wanted to ensure that my self-assessment tax return was correctly undertaken & contacted Tax Assist for support. I was quickly booked an introduction call via MS Teams to discuss requirements, personal circumstances & potential costs, all very up-front and clearly communicated. Once onboarded, the process was straight-forward and managed very efficiently. There is a secure portal which makes providing supporting documents simple & painless. Having been employed for the majority of my working life filling in a tax return for me is the ultimate nightmare just trying to work out which particular section I needed to complete and I was fearful if the information I gave was not correct.I first of all attempted to complete it on line but for some reason this didn't work because for a brief period many years ago I did a bit of self employed work. I then asked HMRC to post me the relevant forms and again one look of it and I knew I needed some assistance.Approaching TaxAssist Accountants, which were locally based, was simple and quick by phone with no lengthy covid related waiting or having press this number and again another.Within a week or so I had a face to face at the local office with Hannah who was charming and clearly very experienced in her role.
