Extremely poor service and poor communications, do not recommend.I was booked into repairs here via my insurance. I emailed photos to them on a Thursday as requested, followed up with a phone call later that day when I was told their mechanics would look at it and get in touch, and waited for a response. After no response after 24 hrs I emailed back asking for an update, no response again, so phoned on Monday after the weekend (as they are closed on weekends) when I was told it’s still in the system and to wait a little longer. I phoned the next day (3 working days after emailing photos) to be told that I had been taken off their system as there had been no communication from me! The insurance company was only informed when I contacted them, and they phoned the repair shop to try find out what was going on. They were told that the repair shop had tried phoning twice a day for several days without success, which was a total lie. My insurance company allocated me to different repair shop after this.

The workmanship and service is second to none. Communication was excellent, Karl and Hayden are brilliant, helpful,very pleasant and informative along with the rest of the team at Autocraft.Karl and his team do their very best to get the work completed so you don't have too much of a delay. As a customer we have to take into consideration that parts for the car can be delayed from the manufacturer or supplier due to manufacturing problems and hauliers and if it is an insurance claim a lot of the delays are held up by the underwriters for approval and it isn't the garages fault.My car has come back pristine and the car looks brand new. I'm very satisfied and happy with the work and service and would highly recommend Autocraft. Thank you all very much I appreciate everything you have done Theresa

Save yourself the trouble & do not take your vehicle to this garage. It’s the worst I’ve ever been to honestly. You will have parts go missing from your vehicle ect. Not to mention the rudeness from the staff in person & on the phone. Honestly I’m not writing this review for no reason. It was totally hell for me dealing with this garage.

Good work, well finished. However, clearly taking on more than they can cope with. They had my car 4 weeks instead of the estimated 4-5 days. Had I not had a loan car provided by my insurance it would have been intolerable

Friendly am knowledgeable staff. The whole experience was of the highest quality.I'd recommend this garage to anyone.

Pretty mixed experience dealing with this company. I needed to repair an exterior rear panel on my old car that got damaged (which my insurer sent me here) in Feb 2020. The courtesy car and collection to and from my place of work were appreciated, along with a deep interior clean. However, the repair job of the exterior panel was substandard (so much so that I decided to disclose it to AvailableCar which I later sold it to, as I knew it was still noticeable and would be brought up, to which they also agreed it was poor but thankfully didn't penalize me because of mentioning it beforehand) and they didn't justify exactly how much the repair job cost in excess of what my insurer paid out on. For any repair jobs, I would go elsewhere.

My car insurance used these guys for my car repair following a non fault accident what a nightmare this has becomeHad an accident in January (minor bumper)Didn’t get collected and sent to them until beginning April after delaysThey had it until end of May and dropped it off back with the bumper repaired but all management lights were on abs power steering management lights.I reported this to the insurance company as when the car left me there were no lights on so would expect to have it returned in that way especially after having it for months!!for something that should be a simple repair.also the fact a month before the accident the car had a full service and MOTThey then ask me to get a diagnostic test which I did to show the dates these lights came on and on my report it shows dates of when the car was in their possession.Then I was told my diognostic test was irrelevant because this body shop did a pre sweep test which they have ONLY just sent to me 2 days ago after asking for proof for 2 months and said the issues were pre existing.They never phoned me and told me about the pre sweep test or issues but did ring me asking me for £120 to fix the tail gate which wasn’t related which I didn’t question which in hindsight I probably should have as I have no paperwork for that they said they couldn’t release the car unless I paid that no mention of any other issuesThe pre sweep test shows that the test was done in May 1 month after they received the car and 1 month after they quoted for the car to be repaired.Surely if the car was in an accident the pre sweep test would be done first before even quoting for the works make that make sense?!!!I’ve had 9 months of hell and 9 months of not being able to drive my own car all after an accident that wasn’t my faultI’ve lost so much money and time but this is the reason why I’ve had to get solicitors involved and be out of pocket even more because time and time again insurance companies get out of doing what they’re supposed to be doing and not taking the time to vet the body shops they’re using not only that bodyshops and insurance companies get away with this stuff time again time again because no one holds them accountable because of the cost of getting solicitors involvedNot on my watch!!!!

Communication has been prompt all the way through and they have been informative throughout. We had storm damage a few tiles straight through our panoramic sunroof. A full inspection report provided clearly providing full evidence to ensure we were in agreement of the extent of the damages. Karl was always willing to accept any calls made by myself and was courteous and knew exactly where and what was happening with my car with accurate updates. Autocraft did the work within the timeframe they had set without messing me about and the transparency of this company says it all. No hesitations in using them again and certainly would highly recommend. Kar really did look after us and has gone above and beyond to give us this 5* service THANK YOU KARL.
