The Stronlossit Inn
Based quite close to Spean Bridge. A popular Inn for B & B & food in the evenings & a good choice for breakfast. Our room was spacious & beautifully furnished & decorated by the manager & his wife during Covid A very dedicated couple & they both work very hard to provide the best service they can. It closes over the winter months for a well deserved rest for the staff. A busy road in the day but quiet at night.

Incredible food, great service - a large range of local beers from Scottish breweries, and well made dishes from good quality ingredients, as well as filling portion sizes. Service was quick, but I recommend reserving a table. We didn’t stay here, we only ordered food.

The food was below average and very over priced. I ordered the pasta dish which was really poor, I couldn't eat it and my husband ordered the burger which was okay. Staff were pleasant but not very attentive. I wouldn't come here with high expectations, very disappointing. Menu was also very limited.

What a quiet lovely place. Pulled in after a long hike in Creag Meagaidh National Nature Reserve. Service was quick. I just ordered fish and chips. It was delicious. The peas were drenched in butter!!

Truly lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. The place, in common with many hotels in the highlands, could do with a little bit of TLC but beds comfortable and clean. The food was great and plentiful. Breakfast was busy (poor waitress was doing everything solo it seemed) and not great menu or variation. If you were a veggie you would struggle, what my BF had for breakfast was fine (but not particularly Scottish for a Scottish breakfast), so I had boiled eggs as dont eat pork. This was only a minor issue, overall our stay at this hotel was very positive.

Terrible service. Stopped here for dinner while staying at a nearby hostel. The host couldn't have been bothered to smile or acknowledge us at the door. Pulled the old still water/sparkling water gag on us and we ended up paying for still water. Barely spoke to us to take our orders. Pasta of the day was tasty, but not worth 16 pounds. No one came to check on us during the meal. After we paid, the host asked us if we wanted our receipts and when we said no, merely turned his back on us and went back to whatever he was doing - no thank you, goodbye, nothing. Very disappointed considering the old reviews on here. Will not be returning.

Gem on a country road. Retro cute. Overpriced, maybe? But, that’s the way it is in Fort William. The rooms are modern. Quiet. Very clean and comfortable. Really warm throughout the premises. Constant hot water supply with high pressure. Beautiful garden. The hotel staff are amazing. We really enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast. Food came out so fast!We really appreciated the inn’s high standard upkeep and their genuine service. There are only 10 rooms. Two have barrier-free access. Others need one flight of stairs to access.

The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and their whiskey selection was excellent. A good spot for a delicious meal and drinks!
