My dog stayed here for just over a week. Lost a bit of weight had a sore throat but think that’s standard for any kennel visit. Place seemed lovely all the staff we met were great.

I recently boarded my dog a 4 year old german shepherd with A&A Animal hotel my dog has never spent a night without me ever but I was going for surgery and had little option I went to view the girls were pleasant and friendly the place was clean so I decided to book him in he came home yesterday after a week boarding he was bathed and groomed with I opted for as he's long haired and absoulouty no sign of neglect or undue stress the staff did everything I required from them will certainly use them again

Very disappointed with the service. Myself and my boyfriend dropped off our dog and my parents dropped off their 2 dogs, which later all came back sick. Granted, you can’t prevent kennel cough but we ended up taking our dog to the vets as he began struggling, and they informed us that they have had numerous dogs come in with kennel cough that had stayed here. We were then informed that the service were accepting pets that had taken kennel cough medication, instead of the vaccination and therefore, will increase risk of breakout. (I’m sure the kennel cough vaccination was in the terms and conditions)!! Further to that, when picking the dogs up, various items provided weren’t returned to my parents. When asked where the big bag of £65 dog food had gone, the staff simply said they don’t know. 1 of my parents dogs requires a special diet which is prescription ordered and makes it a lot more expensive. When they said they didn’t know where the dog food had gone, we asked them to go back and look, and eventually they found the food! However, that made us question what had they been feeding 1 of our dogs if he wasn’t receiving his prescription food. Since coming home he has been unwell, and also needed a visit to to the vets! He requires prescription food as his body struggles to breakdown certain products, which led him to have an operation 1 year prior, which we informed the kennels of, as it’s so important he doesn’t receive any other food! The other item that went missing was one of the dogs harnesses, which despite the cost shouldn’t happen, but again was a £50 harness. We again, asked if they could go back and look, to which they said they couldn’t find it, and believed they may of put it in our dogs bag! We got home and checked, the harness was not there. When my parents called back to say the harness was definitely not there, they said they would have another look and call them back. They never received a call back. My parents called back again the next day and they still said they couldn’t find it, so my parents asked if they could get a refund of £50, to which they said it’s the owners responsibility and will not refund for items THEY have misplaced. The staff said it was part of their terms and conditions. I understand things can go missing or get lost, but if this is the case, what is the point in labelling and making a note of all dog property? You should definitely not misplace a large bag of dog food! My parents phoned back to cancel their next booking in a few weeks time, and are willing to lose out on a £170 deposit and travel further than take them back here. Very disappointed in the service and will not be returning.

Looked great and smelt great. Dogs look happy and felt comfortable leaving my one here. My dog came home happy so it felt like she had gone on holiday too. We'll be using again.

Ive been taking my dogs here for the past 40 years and ive never had any problems. Dogs soon settle in and its like a holiday for them. Obviously happy to see me when i go to collect them but i can tell theyve been well looked after. I would certainly recommend these kennels.

It's hard to leave your pets behind, but at least here, you can be assured that they are as well looked after, as possible, in your absence. They even post pictures, so that you can check up on them while you're away.

Went for a viewing of Kennels before booking in our puppy Bailey. Lovely friendly young lady showed us around while another girl looked after puppy. Beautiful spot of country side and exercise area .Booked for week holiday.

Went for a viewing with a view to making a booking for my dog. Very polite young lady showed me round and gave me prices and available dates. On the way out I had the misfortune to come in contact with one of the managers/owners who accosted me for not walking on the path way instead of the gravel driveway. Her attitude was appalling and spoke to me like something you would scrape off the bottom of your shoe. That said volumes to me about this establishment, and on the basis of her attitude there is absolutely no way I would leave my lovely dog with them. Manners and politeness cost nothing

Always use these guys now. My pets seem well looked after and we are happy for them to stay there. Only gripe is the dropping off system. The reception area is very small and it was busy dropping my pets off i.e lots of cars queued up waiting outside. In my opinion the place would benefit from giving people an allotted appointment time to arrive.
