Amazing service! Broke down whilst visiting St Andrews and called these guys and they sent someone out within 10 mins. Realised it was the battery and gave me a jump start and then also a good price for new battery. All done and dusted within an hour. Very friendly, quick and reasonable priced garage. Highly recommend!

I've only had dealings with the garage on 2 occasions, but on both I have received nothing but exemplary service.On the first occasion, I called for roadside assistance after puncturing one of my rear tyres (I didn't want to fit the spare wheel myself as I was unsure of where the jacking points were located). A very friendly mechanic turned up within 30 minutes of me calling and swapped the wheels over without wasting any time. And within 2 days, the garage had replaced the punctured tyre for a very reasonable price.This week I unfortunately needed Bassaguard's assistance again, much sooner than I'd anticipated after having an accident that left my car undriveable. When I called for recovery, the lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful, showing genuine concern for my wellbeing and sending a recovery truck immediately. The truck turned up in very impressive time, towing myself and the car back to the garage premises, where my vehicle remained, secured, until it was uplifted today by my insurance company.So I'm extremely thankful for Bassaguard garage for helping me out of these 2 difficult situations. I've had terrible experiences with garages before, but this one I trust to provide professional and honest service. Highly recommended :)

Excellent advice and work. You will have to book your car in & go back for the appointment.Prices are not the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for. Their work is always top notch, and they do everything you ask for.

We have had out MOT done through Bassaguard Gargage for years. Also oil changes and maintenance on our auto. We have always been quite happy with the service. The team is so friendly as well.

Been to garage a couple of times. Do some of my own work so know they are pretty trustworthy and always give the best advice. Thoroughly recommend

Great and reliable service! My door latch suddenly stopped working and the door started opening while I was driving! Phoned the garage and the help arrived within few minutes. Excellent service, can't fault them. They fitted me in when they were fully booked and sorted out my car quickly, so that I could return to Bristol on time. Kept well informed during the couple of days they worked on my car. Price was very reasonable for the work done.

Took my car to this garage on the recommendation of breakdown service, told them there was an issue with my alternator and belt, I also needed a tyre repair and another replaced, which I supplied. Was quoted £16 for the repair and £17 for the replacement, but asked them not to start any work until they came back to me with a quote for the alternator. Next day they quote me a total cost of £400 pounds so I asked them to hold off while I had a chance to think about it but they said they had already done the tyres. I had a look at alternators myself and phoned back to ask about breakdown of the £400 quote as they hadnt given it to me. Not sure if the guy was awkward, rude or making it up on the spot because his manner was just off. Decided to take it to another garage but this one then tried to charge me £55 then £50 for the tyres. Basically a different price everytime i spoke to someone from what was on the receipt and what I was actually charged. Poor customer service and non transparent pricing. Other garage did it for half the price. Would highly recommend against coming here as they also had left my car unlocked away from reception when I went to pick it up.

Dropped in to have a dash camera removed at short notice. The owner was very keen to help but couldn't due to covid and available resources. Despite not being able to help immediately, he did provide some alternative solutions which worked for me.

Took my (older) car in for an MOT and check engine light diagnostic. Had to have a bit of work done to get the car to pass MOT. I appreciated that he was honest with me about the cost of the work, kept me updated and called to check with me before doing some stuff (I let him know upfront I had to watch how much I spent). Labour was a bit more than other places I’ve used but I felt the professionalism was worth it.
