Took my MT09 here for a service earlier last month. Asked for genuine parts etc to maintain warranty. Was no bother to them and they even dropped the bike back off to me at home as the weather was wet. Sid is a genuine decent guy - very knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for bikes. Thanks again

Been meaning to do this but forgot. A massive shout to this guy for the job he done on my mates VN900. Bike wouldn't start and he traced it to the starter motor with a gaping hole in it but also a retaining bolt sheared off.It was gonna be £503+vat for a new starter, excluding labour!Sid stripped it, took the starter to bits, rebuilt the internals, fixed the gaping hole then fabricated a bracket to remount the starter.Bottom line is, fixed absolutely perfect, bike running mint, starting every time and £200 bill for the lot including an oil change.Thoroughly recommended(my mate doesn't have fb)

Phoned them to ask about my moped....got hit with quote if its Chinese we won't touch it. I guess all U guys have have British cars and bikes. And all your tech is British too am sure. Half the world's stuff comes out of China. Wow wat a way to talk to a customer when all I phoned up for was to see about getting a lighter spring for the stand. Didn't even get to ask ma question..... AND I JUST FOUND OUT THE SYM JET ISNT EVEN CHINESE GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT B4 INSULTING SUPPOSED CUSTOMERS"

I have known Sid since he was school age. He has always been helpful and enthusiastic. The world needs more people like him. Give Girders a try for motorcycle MOT, bike collection, delivery, service etc.

Second time had the bike in with Girders. New tyres and new fuel filter this time. The tyres are excellent and well priced for the quality. An unexpected issue popped up while it was in the shop and that was sorted for me without charge. Very reasonable hourly rate for the work too, will be back in December for my MOT for sure

just want to say what an amazing service and friendly people got my black widow straight pipe and leovince exhaust fitted was amazing on how quit they got it back to me definitely recommend

Girders to the rescue! Left stranded at work with a screw through my tyre. Luckily Sid at Girders was able to come pick up the bike and I was home in no time. Always hightly recommended Girders if anyone asks for bike repairs
