I have been going to Mark for years for my hair colour and cut and I cannot recommend him enough.Mark is Vidal Sassoon trained and has been working as a qualified colourist and stylist for 30 years. With Marks gentle and kind approach and knowledge about hair styling, I cannot recommend his hair styling enough.10/10

Was given a Cut and colour using a groupon voucher. Excellent service. No waiting times. Mark gave a good cut exactly what i wanted. Very good value for money. Would recommend.

Have been going to see Mark since the first lockdown ended and feel compelled to write to thank him for the lengths he has gone too to make his place COVID secure, everything is gleaming and safe and a very good haircut as well. Would thoroughly recommend Mark.

Best salon in Leigh. I've been going to Mark for years and never had a bad cut. Nothing is too much bother and he always has a smile on his face and good banter!

My mum came to this hairdressers to have her hair coloured and cut before our holiday, she got a deal on groupon and thought after the reviews she’d give it a go. Firstly as soon as she arrived she felt very uncomfortable in the environment she was in and then Mark who had done her hair didn’t make her feel any better. She got offered a drink so asked for a latte and then was asked if she minded a expresso with some milk as they didn’t have any proper drinks... she then explained the colour she wanted and no colour chart was shown to decided what type of undertones there were or see how dark she wanted the brown he just mixed up a colour and stuck it on, he said to me this was because he was a ‘professional’ and ‘knew what he was doing’ but even a colour match genius would still show there clients different colours and tones as no one knows what suits you best than you. He then moved on to the cut. My mum wanted it just touching her shoulders and was given a short bob which was so uneven it’s insane. I phoned Mark to complain as my mum felt uncomfortable in the situation and was going to leave it and just have her hair scraped back until it grew but when I saw the cut I knew I should’ve called. She said if I came back I could get her refund and we could get her a better cut, he said I could’ve came that evening as he would stay and have a beer whilst he waited or the next day . His ‘wife’ then rang who was fairly reasonable (which was not actually his wife as he told my mum he only had a ex wife, she also called me very late about 20:30pm out of there work hours) and said she wanted to have a look but I then rang back the next day and asked if I could send in or show the cut and then mark was being completely rude, VERY unprofessional & stuck up on the phone. I felt like I was speaking to a spoilt child, he told me the lady I spoke to wasn’t there and that I can’t show him the photos and said I can’t have my refund now because he had changed his mind, he was replying in a very sarcastic manner and clearly had no pride in his work or he would’ve done anything to help. Would not recommend even if the hair cut and colour was even close to reasonable I wouldn’t go back and put anyone in the uncomfortable environment.**NO PATCH TEST WAS OFFERED EITHER**

I had my hair cut by Mark. An excellent cut and easy to manage myself. I'm pleased to have found a hairdresser I trust!

Excellent place for a men's haircut with Nick.As I'm sure most people are, I've always been specific with who I go to for a haircut, and I will even travel further to stay with the same person for as long as possible.I've been aware of Nick for almost 20 years in Leigh and have been going to him for the past year at Karma. He is the only stylist I have met who genuinely makes an effort to be flexible around my ever-moving work schedule.Thanks, Nick!
