Great store, nice staff. Huge selection but limited availability of accessories for some of the things I was looking for sadly.

Members prices are generally decent but as always you do need to have an idea of what to expect to pay. Stock selection is also generally decent although not great for smaller sized customers (but this I've found is always a common issue with the outdoor retail sector).

Pretty big but not the largest go out doors. Good selection and some good deals if you have a look around. Prices even with the member card are still pretty steep but its still branded items so I suppose they can't do much about that. Found some bargains over time for camping and out door exploring and I would say its worth getting a member card if you think you are going to buy from here once or twice a year. Place does alow dogs and has a water bowl at the front. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

My click and collect order is still not ready for collection after three weeks! When the order was placed originally I received a notification email informing me that it would be ready for collection within 3-5 days. After day 7 I got in contact with the go outdoors customer support team who after 48hrs then responded with a very vague and confusing reply, suggesting that the package went missing. “The tracking data provides contradictory information, something clearly went wrong with this delivery. On our internal tracking the parcel also appears as delivered on 19th August and then there is a confusing update on 21st August.”After a little more communication they agreed to reorder my parcel and stated once again that it should be ready at the store for collection in 3-5 days. This was on the 22nd of Augustus. On the 23rd I received another email stating that the parcel had been collected by the courier and was on route to the store for collection. I was hopeful that I would be receiving my parcel by the end of the week. However about an hour later I recited another email for go outdoors informing me that my parcel was delayed. It is now Tuesday the 29th and I have received no further information on the whereabouts of my parcel. To say that I am less than impress is an understatement as I need the outdoor clothing for this coming weekend and will now be out-off pocket as I have got find another shop which will have them with me by friday. The service and click and collect has been terrible. I will not be be purchasing anything from here ever again.

This is a terrific shop for the outdoor enthusiast. You are best to get an Outdoor Member Card £5 and you will save it on one shop such are the discounts. This shop is vast so it is best to come prepared knowing what you want to buy. There is plenty parking and the shop is open long hours. I have found staff very helpful if you don't see what you want just ask.

Poor service. Tried to return something and without the card they refused, our local store in Bristol just ask for our postcode. They also refused to return faulty item because it was partially used - but we can’t continue to use it as it’s broken so why they think they can get out of the sales of goods act I don’t know, glad our local store is better than this one!

Quite upset about how I was treated. Nearly walked out and don’t want to come back. I quickly popped in today and went to the till to buy a gift card which are at the checkouts so I obviously wasn’t holding any shopping. One worker was serving someone. And there was a tall male retail worker and his colleague chatting to eachother at the other till. So I walked up to the ones chatting thinking it’s available. She clearly knew I was there as I was right in front of her view. I waited for them to finish talking so I could be served (although I was a little annoyed by this I didn’t want to interrupt their conversation). Waited for a good five minutes and to my shock, he walked off, she stood at the till area, wouldn’t even look at me when I was right there waiting. Luckily the other retail worker who was serving the other customer just finished so I went up to her and that was fine. But I’m stunned at the ignorance and they made me feel like rubbish, especially that I patiently waited for them to finishing talking and they acted like I didn’t exist.I am assuming she was at the checkout doing another task but one of them could have at least said Hi to me and asked me to go to their colleague who was serving someone. Rather than me waiting for five minutes and looking like complete idiot. It takes two seconds to acknowledge someone. I was actually going to come back next weekend to get one of the jackets there but now I’ll be going somewhere else.

Twice had reason to call the Inverness store in the last couple of days and I can't praise the staff there highly enough for their attitude and patience, and general customer service which has been first class. Thank you, folks!

Is it compulsory to say that the discount card has expired? I have experienced this on more than 1 occasion, having paid for an expired card" only days before. I found both members of staff on the till really unpleasant
