Recommended to use this company by a Cameron Homes sales person. Chris at CFS was quite clearly working for Cameron Homes, rather than me. He shared what the maximum we could afford to borrow was, directly with Cameron Homes, without asking me if this was ok. This left no negotiating room, and felt like a betrayal of our interests. The only positive was that Chris was thorough with his mortgage searches.Discussed my complaint with Peter (the MD) after I initially left a 1 star review. He took the time to review the email exchange and took on my concerns about sharing information. Happy with the conversation I had with the MD, and glad he took on board my concerns. Apart from the email communication issues, like I said above, Chris was very thorough in looking for mortgage providers given my work complexity. If it wasn’t for the email communication issues, I think I would have been very happy with the effort that was put into finding a suitable mortgage. Review rating changed to 3 stars.
