Totally agree with the patronising experience. I went into there to get a quote on framing. The woman didn't even turn around when I walked into the shop, I had to say hello before she turned around.I had a quote from a lovely establishment in the North Laines of £70 and this woman who barely said 2 words to me gave me a quote of £124. Think she got it from outer space.I get a lot of pictures framed and will never give this company any business.Horrible customer service and experience.Keep well away, she didn't even spend enough time at her computer to calculate a cost, I think I was too much trouble for her.

Despite some of the reviews here, I went to this shop to have one of my paintings framed and the lady who runs the shop, Denise, was very friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end of process. She spent time with me looking at the various options, listened, made suggestions putting her knowledge and experience to use, which is exactly what a customer needs and together we found the perfect frame for the painting. She also did the framing quicker than what I had agreed to and I didn't find the price expensive. Top service, I wouldn't hesitate to use again!

I have used the Brighton Framing Gallery a number of times and have always found the service to be second to none. They offer helpful advice when choosing a suitable frame, the work is always completed within a reasonable time and the prices are very competitive. When their suppliers failed to deliver sufficient frame material for my husband's birthday present to be completed on time they pulled out all the stops to identify an alternative (which proved even better) to get it done by his birthday, and on one occasion painted some frame material a suitable colour when there was nothing in stock that really worked with the artwork I had! Now that's what I call service.

The owner of this shop has an expert eye and is brilliant at choosing the right frame and mount. She has framed many pictures for me and I find it sad that people criticise her conscientiousness. She is always friendly and cheerful and some reviews mystify me.

Exceptional framing at a reasonable price. Denise is true artist/ craftswoman, and every step of the process- from meeting Denise and having a chat, to being helped with choosing the frame, to receiving the beautifully finished product and hanging it in my home, is an absolute delight. Denise's work really is outstanding. The only trouble is now I want to take all my artworks in to be re-framed here!

Brilliant framing - first class service and frames- highly recommended

Just the most dreadful time-wasting exercise with truly appalling customer service thrown in. Avoid... there are much better, friendlier picture framers in Kemp Town.

I have been into this shop on a couple occasions to get items for picture framing or ask about pricing. I am sure they are both lovely people - but they have taken being patronising to potential customers to another level.I was left clearly in the picture that I didn't know what I was talking about whilst being looked down upon.Avoid - there are way more user friendly people in Brighton

I have used this framer for years: an excellent and friendly service. I cannot believe the negative reviews, and fear the remarks say more about the person who posts than about the lovely lady who runs this place. She is genuinely concerned to get the best result and has a good eye. Cannot recommend more highly

Have used Brighton Framing on numerous occasions. Have always received great customer service and advice. Picture have been excellently framed and always ready before the estimated time. Would recommend!
