Iceland Supermarket Kirkby

What an awful shop. Staff with trolleys blocking aisles to walk around or boxes or sacks on the floor. I got to the tills at 13.25 with 2 people in front of me but didn’t get served till 13.53 due to the cashier chatting to staff & customers she knew, helping a new cashier instead of a member of management, getting off the till to take a loss prevention item out of a security box swearing because it wouldn’t open, chewing gum while serving then the cashier who took over from her didn’t do anything for at least 3 minutes as the last customer had a home delivery that the last cashier was sorting but her & the new cashier where too busy talking about the new cashier’s personal problems! I’ve worked in retail for 36 years & understand the difficulty in staff shortages etc but this is the worst I’ve ever seen as there where four staff members on the floor doing nothing to help get the queues down quickly

Saturday late morning their peak time.Massive queues, only 2 tills open.Staff on floor not helping.Customers walking out instead of joining the queues

1st visit in months and found it to be a lot pricier than Asda and Morrisons

It was great, busy, but not long in the queue, very happy lady on the till.Very helpful.

I only walked passed it, looked chocka in there though, looks like a cool place to shop (pun intended)

This is a great store that sells a very wide range of frozen and non-frozen products as well as fresh produce. Free delivery is available and the staff are very helpful.The store can get busy at the weekend.I would have given five stars but car parking close by is an issue.

It's a standard Iceland of decent size with a great variety of products.

Good food at great prices

The cashier kept going missing of the till for long periods there were long queues, when she came back she went again so a lot of folk started asking where she had gone, she had a big mood on and came back shouting at us all then she walked away throwing my money on the counter saying she can’t do this and disappeared.This was a terrible attitude to have towards customers. I was also refused any discount for pensioners Tuesday.
