Took brand new dress to be pressed for our 30th anniversary party cost £16 when I collected it the lady was complaining to me that she wasn’t going to take mail order dresses any more as it was to much aggravation, well obviously that is your job the dress was still quite creased when I picked it up. After wearing the dress to our party I took it to another dry cleaners in saltdean and they cleaned and pressed the dress for £11 and did a great job

Charged me twice and ruined my suit, shame as i'd hoped to make this my regular dry cleaners. Took in a suit to be cleaned (only issue was a small mark on sleeve). Was told i'd be rung the next day when it was ready, I wasn't - went down to collect it at 3.30, shop was closed, early. When I did get my suit the next day not only had the mark not been cleaned (no effort was made as I was able to do it myself with a damp cloth), but the whole suit was lumpy where it had been poorly pressed.When collecting the suit (different lady to drop off) I was told it would be £17.50 - I immediately replied that I had paid on drop off to which she told me No

They refuse clients to bring their own reusable garment/suit bags to avoid plastic. Terrible welcoming too. Avoid and go to a dry-cleaner that actually is carefully about consequences of his activities on the environment

OK so I forgot my ticket. That's on me. They took my name and all of my contact details when I dropped off my suit yet had nothing saved under my name - so they don't seem very organised either. I've never been spoken to by someone so confrontational and rude. She talked to me as if I was a school child in the 1930's. She threatened to refuse to return my suit to me and compared me forgetting my ticket to going to the airport without a passport. She repeatedly told me she was having a bad day which I might accept if it wasn't for the very many other reviews making similar comments. She should not be placed in a customer facing position with such a lack of courtesy. Needless to say I won't be using this dry cleaners again.

Bought my puffer coat in to be cleaned, and was told it would be out in a washing machine and then tumble dryed. Came back a week later to see the coat was still filthy and not cleaner at all, nor did it smell clean. Went back to and asked the method they cleaned it and the lady had a bad attitude and tried to tell me the stains were ingrained and she had spot cleaned it twice, as well as saying I should go somewhere more expensive if I wanted it to come out cleaner. She also made a comment under her breath about me when she went to the back of the shop, which was unnecessary as I was nothing but polite. Came home and cleaned it myself to find one of the stains came out with a nappy wipe, and therefore I believe the coat had not been touched at all. Spent £15 for nothing to be done.

I took a dress to be cleaned and a dress to be repaired. I was told to collect the following week. When I arrived I collected the dry cleaning but the dress repair wasn’t ready, I paid for the dry cleaning and I was told to go back a couple of days later to speak with the seamstress about the dress repair. I did this but the seamstress wasn’t in so I discussed with the man and another lady what should be done. I was told to come back the following week. I arrived on the Saturday hoping to collect the dress and wear it out that night but it still had not been done. I asked when it would be completed and the lady said she didn’t know , but to let her know when i needed it and I kept telling here I needed it now! She promised to call me when it would be ready and they did. A few days later, When I went to collect it they said it was going to be over £50 . I nearly fell over as the lady had told me not more than £27. I realised that she was charging me for the dry cleaning too which I explained I had already paid on collection. She argued with me that I hadn’t , I said I would check my bank account and went to pay again and when she tried to ring it in , it wouldn’t let her. She started blaming everyone else! But she could see that I had paid!Even so, really rude, unorganised and £38 for a new hem on a dress is the last straw for me as I won’t be using them again! Especially waiting nearly 3 weeks for it!

Been using This dry cleaners for years for all my shirts. Great Value, Great Customer Service, What else is there to say. Well done Bobby and her team.

Very kindly pressed my wedding dress on short notice and it turned out wonderfully

Took in a £200 jacket to be dry cleaned. Received it back and it’s covered in scorch marks where it’s been ironed. Shiny patches all over and the zip is all bent. Tried calling non stop and no answer

I took x2 £150.00 dresses to this shop to get them dry cleaned . I went to collect my dresses and I was told there was problem my dresses looked ruined they said they would try to rectify this then a week later I was told they had so I collected them only they were not they had orange all over them and black on the inside the shop tried to blame the design stating it was lipsy's fault as there was a problem that looked like the zip was at fault on both dresses?? Which is rather odd ?? They said they would contact lipsy weeks went by id phone no one available to speak to me I contacted lipsy who had not heard from them and stated they have looked into this and the dresses and that there had been no other problems with this dress from other customers and asked if they would send a letter and the dresses to them I went into the shop they agreed to weeks went by lipsy said they had not received the dresses or a letter so myself and my sister went in to discuss this And the dry cleaner was verbally aggressive towards us and shouting about her 45 years of experience in a very unprofessional manner when all we were trying to do was have civil conversation and come to a solution to resolve this ..what makes this even worse is the fact the one other customer in the shop was also complaining as they had ruined there suit ! I hugely regret not doing research before taking my dresses there I simply went for the closest shop to me due to work and to top it off they refused to refund me the money they charged me for doing the dresses they ruined!! . Please by all means take your clothes there but it will be at a huge risk resulting in them possibly being ruined I don't normally review places but I lost not just one but x2 expensive dresses and got not even an apology however I reported them to trading standards as this is not acceptable and neither was the attitude and behaviour I received from staff they simply do not care and to be verbally aggressive towards a customer is appalling! And if this shop wishes to reply please be reminded that I cannot reply once review is left! Which is why I find reviews mostly a waste of time as company's like this have an answer for everything and will attempt to lie there way out of things so not loose custom at any cost ! My dresses are now only good for one thing the bin!! Beware !!!
