MANGO

Rude staff, bad customer service!

It's a shop where my wife happily spend money,. Some nice stylish stuff,

The store seemed to have more choice before when we visited like many other stores at the moment, they seem to sell the same style just in slightly different colour choices. However when you actually look there aren't really many different styles.

My boyfriend managed to spill his drink on me on the train on my beautiful baby blue dress on the way for the races! I ran into mango obviously distressed trying to find a new dress in a rush. Obviously i was distressed but the staff were not bothered. I tried a dress on and asked if I could get the tag taken off so I could get off quick and pay at the till. But they said I had to change and pay for it first then go change again. To me this is not putting the customer first and the staff were rude! I needed help! I work for a leading retailers and we strive in delivering exceptional customer service!

Staff very polite and helpful.

I was trying to pick a bag colour and a lovely member of staff, Debbie was really friendly and helped me decide which bag to get. She was really chatty and friendly and gave great customer service.

Shame on this store and manger very rude the employee gave me dirty look while I was talking to my daughter who wasn't very will I was treated badly next time I'm going to video that

Nice shop good selection

I visited the Mango store in Coney Street York today with my 35 year old daughter who is physically handicapped and uses a wheelchair. We were amazed to find that the store is almost totally inaccessible with stairs almost as soon as you enter. This is of course against the law which states that all public buildings should be wheelchair accessible. I do understand that many of the stores are listed buildings and this is often used as an excuse for opting out of the law. However for a store the size of Mango to it even have a ramp to enable access to the first floor is appalling. The store assistant was totally dismissive and said she did not even know that law existed. I would be interested to have your comments on this. Needless to say, we will not be shopping inMango ever again.Sandra Fraser.

Nice shop, friendly staff but the clothes are uninspiring & boring.
