Found this very beautiful place for our Sunday lunch. Perfect ,food so good cooked lamb to perfection also the gravey was so tasty. Homemade sauces and chutney. We had starter pate and it was delicious. We then had lamb roast and chicken roast both cooked to perfection. We had their own bitter which was great. The service was excellent with attention to detail, always asking if we wanted anything, water brought to our table without being asked. They were so friendly and the atmosphere was amazing too. Would most definitely recommend.

Food oriented pub. Nice atmosphere. Went for the house burger. 'Was not disappointed. Massive and great quality brilliantly cooked. Service great. Food arrived in good time. Good selection of beers. Gets busy early evening so worth booking a table. I will return next time I'm in the area.

My second visit, and one of my favourite pubs in the area. Great food and a decent selection of beers.A nice atmosphere and really helpful staff looked after all our needs.

Lovely pub, fabulous food, cosy warm, friendly atmosphere. What's not to love. I would certainly return and in my party of 8 everyone was impressed with food. Well worth a visit. Advisable to book.

Nice warm place in winter. Good food and local beer. Friendly staff. Beef roast was excellent.Ample parking. Dog friendly.Has outdoor seating for summer.
