Haydon Way Wood car park

Lovely bit of nature, peaceful walks and perfect for walking during lockdown! Just wish people would pick up their dog mess!

This is a great place for a walk, the Car Park is FOC but asks for Donations, and is Locked at 9pm. There is a flood warning for winter conditions as the local area is flood prone and the site can be very muddy during Autumn - Winter Period. There's a fast turnover of Cars and usually spaces become available pretty soon, however you can park further up the lane on the sides and around the corners into neighbouring lanes if need be. There's plenty of walking from here along the various routes toward Coughton Court or Arden Forest Project. Both of which are often wet in Winter and Muddy. There's the River to consider with Children and Dogs and although walking is flat and paths relatively well worn you need to be able and have reasonable footwear, not really suitable for Wheel Chairs or disabled walkers.

Lots of butterflies but needs to grow a bit more. Maybe in 10 years time

Quiet peaceful walk, meadow feeling. So many young trees growing. Beautiful 12thc church nearby.

I love this place its so peaceful plus its great for the dog as the river Arrow has plenty of places to play in.

Beautiful place, please help maintain it by donating what you can in the carpark box, and also please ensure you clean up after your dog.

Not as nice as it used to be. Still nice to let the dog run round without worrying about her getting lost. Not enough people cleaning up after their dogs.
