Doggie Style

Couldn't understand all the negative reviews, until today when I had my first interaction with Craig. I quite simply asked if he provided a service & if there was any appointments available. Apparently this makes me entitled". Absolutely no proffesionalism

I have been using Craig to cut and strip our dog for years. We have never had a problem with the quality of his work or attitude. If anything he has been the complete opposite of the negative reviews I have read on here.We missed an appointment once, our fault and we didn't call to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. He was fantastic about it.Having used another dog groomer once before I can assure you that Craig is very professional and offers a fantastic service.The negative reviews seem very personal and I doubt that any business could last as long as Doggie Style has if these accusations were true.

I understand and accept people's opinions when leaving positive reviews, but also negative, if you have left a positive review then I'm really glad your dog was treated well! But my dog has not been and i need to speak up for her! After being refused business due to breed discrimination, i left a negative review which I am entitled to do on another page (Adorable Dogs) Craig then sent me some awful messages intimidating me to remove the review or no groomers would serve me, calling me petulant, calling me stupid wheb it had nothing to do with his business. I Now I understand why he did that... i had no idea other dog groomers followed up on reviews, but the support i have had from other companies regarding the abuse from Craig has been overwwhelming and restored my faith that there are self employed groomers who put dogs and customer service before profit and will not turn down certain breeds with no reason, and have even asked me to go to them to proove this to me. So i will be next week. I'v been told i have the most famous Staffie in Scotland amongst the grooming world lol not the reason i posted it, if anything im slightly embarrassed by the attention it has caused, but i just love her, n if I don't defend my baby no1 else will lol i have posted the abuse i got from Craig and attitude he has against short breed dogs so it is clear i am not lying. It would be a scary world if all business men went with the same logic as Craig and discriminated against say certain people - for example - a restaurant owner refusing slim people service as they would prefer to serve fatter people in the hope that they will infact order a three course meal and make more profit due to a stereotype that fat people eat more? There would be a public outcry of reviews if businesses used this logic for people.... but for dogs Craig thinks this is ok and I am not entitled to my opinion? I am not saying Doggie Style or Adorable Dogs are bad groomers... I don't know how they work, I wasn't given the chance to see, but if your dog has been treated well then i am delighted! All i want is dogs to be treated well, but I would rather give my business to a self employed groomer who has a love for all dogs and does not discriminate against breeds. I am not writing this to upset anyone, im trying to prevent anyone else recieving this treatment so just want to warm people with short haired dogs that this man will belittle you for it, and other breeds... he just wants as much money as he can get. I just find it so sad.

Craig has been taking care of Lexi grooming for the last few months and he has been absolutely excellent in getting exactly what we wanted, communication has always been great.Thanks Craig.

I am over the moon at finding Craig! After a rocky puppy introduction elsewhere I was nervous about taking my pup to any groomer. I read all the online reviews and then emailed Craig. From this I felt like he was on my wavelength and knew what I wanted. I am relieved and delighted. My pup looks amazing and clearly loved Craig. He did a fantastic job. So grateful to have found him. We’ve already booked our next visit. Don’t believe the one malicious review, this groomer knows his stuff, is skilled and gentle with his clients. If only all groomers were like this!

Our border terrier puppy had its first hand stripping here. Craig was absolutely excellent with the dog and done a great job.

On checking the phone number for Doggy Style I came across a vitriolic review from some disgruntled customer, I can't believe that someone could be so rude! I have been taking my dog to Doggy Style for over 9 years and have always found Craig to be extremely friendly and professional. My dog is quite nervous but loves Craig, I thoroughly recommend Doggy Style!

Like other reviewers I cannot understand the negative review. I can only assume that Craig is right and that the customer has the wrong salon.Craig has been grooming our dogs for years and has never been anything but charming as a person and professional. We have abused him by being late and missing appointments and he has been nothing but courteous in return.With regards to his service our dogs always return beautifully cut and dried. Craig also makes sure he tends to anything else he may notice (like earwax or blocked anal glands!) without question or complaint.I would highly recommend him.

Craig is such a warm and friendly guy and an excellent groomer! Having been to a few ‘dodgy’ ones in the past, I couldn’t be happier with the haircut Tosca gets at Doggie Style! Highly recommend!
