Golden Hill Country Park
It's a very nice walk with some spectacular views across to Yarmouth in one direction and Tennyson Down in the other. I think that dog walkers are the principal users, although there is a distinct lack of poo bins. There is a gentle gradient to reach the peak. There are tables that make this a good picnic area for all. Golden Hill Fort has been converted for residential use, so it is not accessible to the public.Paths make the park accessible to wheelchair and mobility scooter users. Be aware that there are no toilet facilities. Nor is there a child activity area. There are some parking facilities when arriving via the Colwell Rd/Hill Rd direction.

Golden Hill Country Park
Good dog walk. Palmerston fort out of bounds, unfortunately.

Golden Hill Country Park
Free parking and lots of room. Good walks around Golden Hill Fort and is well maintained. A nice area for kids to run around in, my 3 year old likes the maze. Has also some good historic points of interest.

Golden Hill Country Park
Great place to walk dogs. Pleasant woodland walks as well as less strenuous open area walks. Great views to the sea to north and south and excellent views of downs. Free parking. No toilets.
