Carol Lawless Pregnancy Yoga
Carol is a wonderful teacher! We’ve enjoyed her yoga classes both pre and post natally. Always time for a chat/moan and to connect with other mums. She creates a very welcoming and comfortable space for you mentally and physically. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend Carol's yoga classes highly enough! Taking her classes has been the best thing I've done in my pregnancy journey so far. Carol is like no other yoga teacher I've ever met - she puts so much of herself into planning every class, tailoring each one to what we need as mums as she always checks in with us. She makes you feel so welcomed from from the minute you enter the studio. She knows everyone by name, remembers our stories, and makes us all feel so comfortable and heard. It's more than just yoga too, she walks us through active birth positions, what to expect in labour, breathing techniques, along with her own stories which are always humble and humourous. You know when you meet someone and they just immediately make you feel at ease and like you want to get to know them? That's Carol!She has also created a lovely sense of community among us mums in the class, and I've made some new friends through this with whom I can discuss all things pregancy related. This has been really nice and something I was missing in my own friendship group, as I'm the first of my close friends to be pregnant. I can't wait to sign up for her baby massage class next as her yoga classes have been the best investment of my time during pregnancy so far.

I started attending at 18weeks pregnant and continued to my due date. It was great to do some movement whilst pregnant, even though i hadn’t really done yoga before. Carol really helped with various movements to ease the discomfort during pregnancy but also shared lots of useful info to do with other aspects of birth and the early days of parenting. All so valuable and really helped me feel confident going into birth

The best start to your pregnancy journey! I love coming to Carol's classes and always leave feeling more relaxed and uplifted. I went to Carol's pregnancy yoga classes to help prepare for the birth of my third baby. I had decided to try for a home birth this time and I really believe that Carol's support and positive encouragement helped me to achieve the birth I had hoped for. One of the best things about the class is how Carol really listens and takes the time to get to know everyone. She tailors each class to the needs of the group. The classes are the perfect blend of physical activity and relaxation and it's a lovely opportunity to bond with your baby. We practiced postures that help ease the aches and pains of pregnancy, learnt breathing techniques to helpprepare for labour and enjoyed time to reflect and share experiences with other women.Carol also did a private session for me with my older children who were feeling some anxiety around the idea of a new sibling. She taught us some massage techniques through a story session, which was brilliant and really helped them to feel calmer.I am now attending the baby massage class with my little boy and I look forward to starting the Mother and Baby yoga sessions soon as well. Highly recommended!

We attended two terms of baby massage with Carol, and it was such a lovely class. The massage techniques we were taught were super handy, but just having a safe space to relax in and talk to other new Mums was amazing for my mental health. It gave me a reason to get out the house, and the brew and cake at the end was just so wholesome! I wish I could still take my daughter now, I have very fond memories of those classes.

Carol Lawless Pregnancy Yoga
I really can't recommend this yoga class enough! I am so happy I found such a warm and inviting community to help me navigate my way through my first pregnancy. I have been attending these classes since around 19 weeks and I have just been to my last one as baby is due any day now. Each class offers something different, some are more active, some more restorative, some focus on active birthing positions and others on breathing techniques during labour. All have been really useful and helped made me feel more excited/prepared for the birth of my baby! Carol goes above and beyond the remit of a yoga teacher and makes you feel seen and heard. Sad to be leaving these classes behind but looking forward to starting some mum and baby yoga in the next few months!

Pregnancy yoga was a brilliant way to spend one night a week during my pregnancy. Being around others going through the same thing is amazing. Carol’s classes start with a ‘catch up’ and work through various yoga positions, as well as incorporating breathing exercises and techniques that could improve your labour, which I benefited from. I met some lovely people from doing this who will have little ones at the same age. So worth doing it!!!

I would highly recommend Carol’s pregnancy yoga. I hadn’t done any yoga before this but I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and it was more than just a Yoga class as it included a lot of guidance and tips for birth. Carol makes you feel at ease straight away and each class becomes a place to relax and unwind, at the same time as really helping with any ailments you may be experiencing. Being a first time mum I didn’t know a thing about birth and was trying to block the actual event out of my head but after doing the course I felt so much more confident and positive about giving birth. I learned some really useful breathing and calmness techniques that I used in my labour and I also picked up a lot of tips from Carol throughout the course, even the little things like what you should take to hospital that you wouldn’t find on the lists that you tend to Google. It was also a great way to meet other pregnant women and share experiences of their pregnancy. I often wonder what I would have done if I hadn’t attended these classes as I think I would have been like a rabbit in headlights on arrival day!I have now moved onto Carol’s baby massage classes which my little boy and I love. It’s a great way to bond with your baby and to also learn techniques for colic/wind etc in a relaxed environment with no judgement. Once he is a bit older I am looking forward to Carol’s mum and baby yoga classes.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my pregnancy yoga with Carol. She is honestly the best! I have now started baby massage and it’s been really helpful for a baby with Colic!
