Fabulous little French restaurant. Full of character and great food. Well worth a visit, especially for a date night.

As a French native who grew up eating traditional French food, the food served at this restaurant has really pulled some nostalgic strings. The downstairs sitting area is extra romantic if you're looking for a date venue, but if you're just looking for a discrete, quiet, cozy and delicious lunch or dinner, this is the place. Additionally the prices are truly reasonable.

I remember dining here many years ago and enjoying a steak with friends, so I thought that I would give it another try. This French restaurant has a few tables upstairs but lots of interesting coins" (corners) to eat downstairs in the basement. I visited on a busy Friday night

I've had better steaks in terms of meat quality. For the price you pay, you'd expect it to be on point but the steak was ok, precisely the rib eye. We had the fondue and scallops as starters and they tasted nice. As dessert, most of us had the chocolate fondant, it was rich but delicious! The staff were really nice. We were there for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. The buzz definitely picked up from 5pm onwards. I really liked the style of the restaurant, especially downstairs where it feels more intimate All in all, we had a nice time.

Had to write a review because my waitress was soooo lovely. I work in the service industry and I know just how challenging it can get, especially in such a busy part of town. Please give this lady a raise!Food was perfect, medium portion which was good enough for me, great flavour - for a central London restaurant! I recommend it for a quick lunch, as I was in quite a rush.

Very good French cuisine. The starters were rocking, the main dishes generic (Beef Bourguignon and Confit de Canard) and with very good taste. For dessert the chocolate fountain is recommended (heaven).

Food is under my expectation but it’s still good. There was only 1 waitress serving so took ages to get the bill. I don’t blame her. Would I go back? No, because there’re better choices.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The waiters were warm and friendly. They looked after my wife and I who were celebrating our wedding anniversary.The food was delicious. It had a home cooked feel to it, which added to the enjoyment. They have a good selection of reasonably priced wine.Overall I thoroughly recommend and I plan to return soon.

This is a wonderful place. Full of atmosphere and people that are making history. There is something about this place that keeps us all coming back. I imagine a lot of their custom is repeat business. Please do go. It will be perfect whatever your occasion. Smoothing things over at home, doing business, meeting up with old friends, negotiating a divorce. Whatever it is, the staff will make your life wonderful. The lad looked like one of the Beckhams. The lady was beautiful. Also a great place to go on a date.
