A lovely bookshop. The shelves are well spread making it feel very open. The staff were very helpful and polite. Last time I visited I enjoyed a lovely coffee in the cafe after buying several books. It is also perfectly situated with a good selection of shops surrounding it.

Bookshop is fine, unfortunately cafe could be improved. Floor is very dirty doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned and cafe staff prefer to be on their phones/chat amongst themselves instead of maintaining the cafe and keeping it clean.Regularly attend the Waterstones cafe in Bristol by Union St which is great, unfortunately this one doesn’t compare.Otherwise staff are friendly just need to improve cleanliness

Gloucester's only 'proper' bookshop. Good range of books, cards, games etc. Ordered two books which came in quickly and as promised.

Book shop is superb and staff very helpful.Coffee shop bit of a let down. Half a cup of coffee, tho tasted good; Over toasted cheese roll, burnt on the base. Very slow service.

Very kind and helpful staff. Great selection of books, graphic novels, manga, board games, and more. Great café on the top floor, with a great selection of drinks and food.

The guys that work here are incredibly helpful. I find myself not being able to find specific books and one trip to the back solves it every time. They're also very knowledgeable, very rarely miss with their recommendations
