Very helpful and at selling you expensive flooring, but extremely poor (non existent service,despite repeated calls and left messages) when asked to solve problems when the flooring is poorly fitted. Waste of money. Would avoid!

Chose this retailer for its convenient location and reputation. We wanted Amtico LVT and were spoilt for choice due to the ranges and wood colours. The shop was very accommodating by allowing us to take their larger samples home to get a clearer idea during different light conditions. All staff from the point of sale, advice of product and indeed the fitting were excellent. I unreservedly recommend this local family-run business.

Friendly shop assistant at point of entry. Chose and ordered a bed and mattress. Given a time scale of 3 weeks for delivery. Requested- and was promised- that assembly was part of the service. 6 weeks later, received the component parts of a bed at the end of the day- 2 hours later than promised. No assembly. Was referred to the shop and was told that I would have been informed that it was delivery only at the point of sale- not the case. I could pay a surcharge for assembly, but, given the time it took to receive it- twice the promised time- goodness knows when it would have happened. Altogether, despite a promising start, a disappointing and unsatisfactory experience. Will buy online next time. I had wanted to support local business, but what's the point?

Excellent service. We have bought 2 mattresses and had all the flooring in our new house supplied and fitted by the carpet and bed shop.They provide good old fashioned service where nothing is too much trouble.

We've used the carpet and bed shop on several occasions. Our latest project for them was to fit altro flooring in to the kitchen of our new restaurant in Barnsley.The staff are very professional and helpful with your needs at the front of their minds, not how much they can get you to spend.We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Great Service. Visited showroom to choose carpet, 3 days later Stuart (owner) came to measures up. Within a week of first contact carpet fitted. Would highly recommend this family run business
