We did the fungi forage session with Conor, a 3 hour romp around the most beautiful wooded area of Aros Park with the most friendly, engaging and knowledgable person I've met in a long while! Learnt so much about mushroom foraging and fungi life, started a passion for foraging, and experienced the park as we definitely wouldn't have otherwise! Amassed three whole delicious meals-worth (for 2 people) of wild mushrooms to take away and cannot wait to continue my foraging education.Cannot recommend this experience enough!!

We had a fantastic wildlife experience spending the day with Theo who was both knowledgeable and so enthusiastic. We had great sightings of eagles and hen harriers in particular, which we would not have experienced without the expert knowledge of Theo and Nature Scotland. We highly recommend Nature Scotland and would definitely like to join more of their trips

What a wonderful day we had with Jack, our patient, knowledgeable and witty guide! We were driven around the south western parts of Mull from around 1000 to 1730, stopping off frequently at key locations to 'scan' for particular birds or animals.Without Jack's evident knowledge of the island and its wildlife, it's unlikely we would have seen anything, or at least we would have had no idea what it was! We saw white-tailed sea eagles and golden eagles, a peregrine falcon, dolphins, a minke whale, some fallow deer, as well as many of the more numerous local species like shags, herons, oystercatchers and so on.Unfortunately, despite scanning miles of prime coastline habitat we didn't see a single otter! Jack felt this was unusual as he's almost always seen them otherwise ... just goes to show how elusive these wild animals can be, even to the most seasoned guide!Despite this we still had such an enjoyable day with a group of like-minded wildlife enthusiasts, and we would gladly go on another trip with this company in the future.

We booked a half day private tour of Mull with Nature Scotland. There were six of us in the group so the cost per person was very reasonable. Our guide, Rachel, was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, very generous with her time (we got an extra 90 minutes!) and went out of her way to accomodate all our requests. We saw all sorts of birds and animals including otters and eagIes. I also found communicating with Nature Scotland prior to our tour completely painless. All my emails were answered promptly! I cannot recommend Nature Scotland too highly.

Great 1/2 day tour with Theo. Spotted loads, including the White Tail eagle that snuck up behind us; not literally! An otter, too. And a lovely Wheatear.Sadly, no Golden Eagles but as we are on Mull for a fortnight Theo gave us some top tips where we might get to see them.Very amateur birder but now feel better equipped at habitat and spotting skills.Definitely recommend the tour.

Lovely to see a white tailed eagle swoop across the loch for quite some time sending a flock of geese to take off in unison - a really beautiful sight. We also saw a different white tailed eagle land in a tree where it's nest was and we could see the chick too! (through binoculars) A golden eagle was flying over the mountain tops. Watched a pair of otters for quite some time - a good distance so you don't disturb them, but everyone gets a turn of looking through the telescope, so you can see really well. There are also binoculars to borrow if you don't have your own. Thank you Rachel!

We took a guided wildlife tour with Conor. Whilst we didn't get to see any of the big stars on that particular day, Conor was really knowledgeable and engaging, showing us plenty of things we would have missed. We also got some great tips for the rest of our time on the island.

Had a day out with Nature Scotland in June 2023, Jack was a hugely knowledgeable guide patiently answering all questions and sharing his enthusiasm for wildlife on Mull. We found an otter that everyone was keen to see and he helpfully pointed me to a better vantage point as I had my camera with me, while still respecting the otter. I even got picked up and dropped off at my accommodation, with a bonus hen harrier on the way home! All in all a really top day and a great way to see the wildlife Mull has to offer.
