Worked here really good salon lovely friendly staff and the boss Lisa is a great boss. Great experience and amazing job with hair they know a lot about hair and are experts. Also do Extentions very pricey though. And coffees are filtered. But georgus biscoff biscuit with it.

Just fabulous people, helpful, experienced and professional. I’ve been a customer for many years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m sure they are all magiciansI come out of the salon after a cut, colour and blow dry feeling amazing. My hair always looks so shiny and the cuts and colours are perfection.Thank you for making me feel fantasticXx

Fantastic updo from Sophie! Exceeded all expectations and lasted all day and night. Had no idea who, what or where this salon was before hand other than emails but honestly I was in York for a wedding and they were quick to respond and happy that I couldn’t get in before for a consultation! Sophie was so good….professional,friendly and so knowledgeable. Thank you so much Studio 56 for easing my day. Xx

I’ve been going to Sophie for years at studio 56 and wouldn’t let anyone else touch my hair :) always have a lovely time in the salon and will be taking my daughter there too!

Unbelievable, I’ve never been refused service. I took my daughter her for a hair cut she was very excited and the lady at the front refused to see her, she refused to cut her hair and said go to another salon as were busy. I said I’m here for a few days so I don’t mind if we can just make an appointment she said we only take regulars. I’ve never heard of something so ridiculous. She refused and I’m guessing it’s because I’m British Pakistani and I’m guessing because we were a scarf. She walked us out and pointed to go somewhere else which was a man salon! I’m annoyed but mostly upset for my daughter who couldn’t understand why someone would be like that.

Excellent service, flexibility with appointments and a lovely salon. Sophie has been trimming, styling & balayge-ing my hair for 5 years now and I would never go elsewhere! It’s rare to find a hairdresser who listens yet offers advice & gets it right every time!A beautiful salon with hardworking & loyal staff.
