Bit disappointing but it was a Sunday evening visit so we did not get into the cafe or shop. The people were lovely in Holmfirth and the center was buzzing in the evening. Lots of restaurants and bars. I would return to find other location spots and try a few more restaurants.

Iconic British comedy series... the house is now a museum..£3 entrance fee for adults and £1.50 for children which is very reasonable in my opinionLoved it...it contains various props and photos of the series and it's actors from over the yearsSome fascinating facts about the series are dotted around the museum and make very interesting readingTook me about twenty minutes to exploreLittle gift shop selling souvenirs for a momento of your visit on site...Last of the summer wine is a favourite of mine so found it thoroughly enjoyable

Absolutely loved it. Took my mum who loves LOTSW, brilliant cafe which was more or a vegi place but was nice food. It's a beautiful place to take photos and sit & make memories.

Found this museum very disappointing, also a very unpleasant smell, maybe supposed to be atmospheric???? Lady at the counter was very friendly. Unfortunately not somewhere I'd be in a hurry to visit again, shame as I had been looking forward to.

We came here today to have a look around and I would never of thought how tiny and narrow the walk way and steps are. I also took a sneaky picture through window showed my husband the pic and dropped my phone on compos steps outside his door proper gutted I was but enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to others. Next time we visit we will go inside.

A must visit for fans of last of the summer wine this small exhibition of props from the show and a room set up of compos living room. Plenty of information about each series on the walls and a couple of interactive computer screens one with a very moving tribute to Bill Owen by Peter sallis.Very reasonably priced only £3 per adult to get in .There is a gift shop selling last of the summer wine merchandise for very reasonable prices.Well worth a visit if you love the show.

No hours posted, so arrived and were told by cafe owners that they were closed. Disappointing as we travelled a long way. Thank goodness for the lovely cafe people upstairs. Needs hours to be posted or people to open up.

For anybody who is a fan of Last of the Summer Wine it is well worth taking the time to vist. Whilst it is a small exhibition the photos and the set of Compos house is excellent, staff were very helpfull. It was a bittersweet moment when you look at the photos of Compo playing the last post knowing that this was his last performance before his death.
