Love going to Athena for my hair doing by Krystina, she always does a great job of my cut and colour.Always friendly at the salon and have a laugh,its the tonic you need after a hard day at work.

Staff are lovely, never left disappointed with my hair (Believe me that's saying something considering how often I dye my hair different colours but they're able to get it back to a place I can dye over again just fine)

Ladies have great knowledge and experience in what They doing, not afraid to trying something new. Sunbeds available, piercing and nails also available You can have real pampered for good price. Highly recommended

I love Athenas have my hair dyed cut blow dried straightened . Nails and toes done too . Had my eyebrows tattooed 2yers ago Amanda did a brilliant job . Nice clean salon the staff are great have a right laugh with the lady's . Would recommend this salon to anyone . I've been going for the last 10years . Debbie storey

I've used athenas hair salon for years they are so lovely all the staff there are the same I've told all my friends about how good they are and they now use them. I always have a laugh with them whilst I'm having my hair done I've never been dissapointed with anything. I would never go anywhere else and their prices are very reasonable

I have been going to Amanda for years now even though i have moved to Barnsley tried 2 hairdressers down here and couldn't wait to go back to get my hair done the way i want it..Its like going for therapy we laugh, Helen' s jokes and bith are dear friends.As it happens i am off for my therapy tomorrow and have made some homemade Christmas goodies for the girls.Highly recommended.

I had my nails done with shellac 5 days later the shellac completely pealed off I complained and had them redone free of charge. The second set lasted 7 days. I wore washing up gloves when touching water to try and protect them. The young lass said it's because I'm pregnant the reason my Polish wasn't lasting (BS!) as I was leaving the second time she said she had sealed them properly this time. So to me sounded like they wasn't done correctly in the first place.I won't be visiting them again which is a shame as generally didn't have a problem with them but not been fobbed off with crappy excuses to why they were pealing and its sounds like the person who did them didn't do them properly.

They are absolutely awful, very poor customer service and extremely rude. I cant remember the lass who did my hair, but she bleached it to an extent it ruined my hair. I asked for a light blonde and got a mixture of white, green and purple. She ripped my hair while combing and didnt even apologise after ruining my beautiful hair. My hair started to break off and I'm.now left with hair that doesnt grow in places because of the damage the bleach left. DO NOT GO THERE. They still charged me £120. I now go to rosa Massimo and George Alexander. Both have great customer service, know what they're doing and charge either same amount or less.
