Shady company with shady business practises. Do not offer refunds on purchases, therefore if you do not shop with them they’re affectively stealing your money. The store manager is incredibly patronising as well and shows no emotional intelligence to customers.

Terrible customer service from the fella who served me. Asked for shoes in a size 12. First pair didn't come in the size so he gave them back and just walked off. Once I found another pair and could find him he scanned them and went off to the stockroom. Couldn't be be bothered to bring them to me when he returned and ushered for me to come to him. Luckily I'm not in a wheel chair aye?

I went in the other day, it’s a large store with lots of variety in different shoes and clothing. I found that the customer service was okay and very polite. Even though it was very busy. The prices were good and cheaper than other shoe shops in the area.

This is the second time I ordered a specific shoes from their website and on both orders, I received an incorrect product.First Order: Evri delivered it to the wrong address so I had to walk around the neighborhood, and knock on people’s doors to find it. When I found it, I realised they sent me the product in UK7 instead of UK8. So I started the return process and ordered a new one. Lost my £5 shipping because they made a mistake.Second Order: I learned from my mistake and this time I selected the store collection. The product is not what is on the website. The features and the look were different. I spent 1 hour on their live chat and all they offer is a free return label. Nothing else.I am very unhappy and disappointed with the online service.

Worse shop ever. Queued 20 minutes downstairs to be told returns are upstairs. So another 20 mins queue. A sign would go a great way not to waste people's time.

Went to this store many times trying to buy trainers for myself or for my daughter. We get the same answer we don’t have your size. Even for my 8 year old daughter. Trainers or football boots always telling us no size available. Stood in a queue to ask for help and to be told to go look over there pointed by the staff member.Go over there and it’s not located there. Went back to standing at a queue and just to be told they don’t have it.Customer service is poor.Supposedly never have your size. I won’t bother coming in or ordering from sports direct again just a waste of time.Ended up directly ordering online from addidas website for football boots. Less time and I could get a refund.Sports directs policy of no refund and store credit is just ashame. Wouldn’t recommend shopping here.

Great for clothing and footwear, store just has no staff to serve you quick enough. Would rather spend more elsewhere getting better service.

What an absolutely miserable place to shop. Quite literally the worst place to buy anything in Southampton. Seemingly the rules from head office mean that staff stood around with nothing to do can't help you because you're trying trying to buy something from a section that isn't theirs to cover and they can't leave their space.You can't find what you need, and staff aren't allowed to help you get what you need. It's a complete farce.And good luck if you order online for collection in store, there's zero signage on where to go, staff aren't sure either and when you do get to the right place there's a problem because the parcel is on a high shelf and there's boxes in the way for the staff member to use a ladder to get to it.I feel sorry for the staff if the reports of how they're treated by head office are true.I'd rather go have root canal treatment than step foot in Sports Direct again.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would!!Where do I start??1. Poor service!!!2. Then turned into an idiot after asking for service!!!!3. When waiting for the product, you have to wait, wait wait.... Then the assistant decided to leave and not tell you the product is unavailable!!!! What was the waiting for??This is so not acceptable!!!What are you going to do about that?

I visited this store in October 2017 for curiosity. It sells almost everything. I decided to buy a good quality backpack as it was cheap. I also bought a few Adidas football shirts whose price was reduced. They are my favourite ones. A few years later, I bought a good quality belt which I use to these days.
