HLCC Cafe
As this was one of my favourite places to catch both great brie wraps and lovely coffee, not to mention the wonderful view along Helensburgh front and beyond to the fabulous scenery, I happened to have called into this cafe earlier today during some rather heavy downpours. After finishing my wrap and with cup in hand I was shocked to have one of the staff arbitrarily decide I was finished and without a word remove everything from my table, except of course the cup which was at my lips, as she speedily headed back to the serving area, leaving me speechless, just when I was about to request a second coffee in order to stay out of the downpours.While I appreciate the cafe was busy with folks, I presume we're locals, many of whom had been there far longer than myself, a word or some sign I was taking up much needed table room, although a little thoughtles, would have been appreciated . I have only recently started using this cafe and have praised it to the heavens on twitter more than once.I find today's attitude towards me and the way I was treated to be most upsetting.I am writing this in Greggs, trying to calm down and not let the way I was treated have any lasting effects on my regular visits to what has been for many years one of my favourite places to visit.P.Thomson76Glasgow

HLCC Cafe
Lovely cafe located in the school hall. Food and coffee top notch, cakes very tasty and friendly staff. Good value for money too. Glad to see it open again after covid
