Badgers Hill Garden Centre

I visited this garden centre for the first time today and can honestly say I’m impressed. Easy to find. Good parking. Excellent choice of plants. Friendly staff. Toilet. Coffee shop. Reasonable prices!Will definitely be going back again and can recommend.

Such a big change since we last visited. Good selection of food. We went for the sausage rolls which had scrumptious pastry. Large selection of plants and trees including some VERY large.

Stopped at the café for a quick breakfast. Food very good, coffee great and the serving staff were exemplary with their exceptional customer service approach. The nursery plants look amazing too.

Absolutely lovely place. The staff in the nursery are so friendly, as are the staff in the cafe. I took my elderly mother as we went to eat there. The nursery is literally growing in front of your eyes, really well laid out and great prices too. I would highly recommend it as somewhere to shop for plants and somewhere to eat too.

Our visit was 1/12/23 so it was a very cold day but nevertheless a great place to visit on a freezing day. We enjoyed walking around the potted plant section. As we came to the entrance to the tearoom we were greeted by chickens and then a small friendly dog once we were indoors. There is a very welcoming atmosphere and staff were so helpful and friendly. We sat in the tearoom, which was busy, ordered our food and enjoyed chatting contently (it was nice and warm indoors too!). Once our food came, we were surprised at the size of the portions and the food did not disappoint- one word: delicious!! We will definitely be visiting again and more frequently. Also, you can purchase Christmas trees at Badgers Hill, as well as gift cards and afternoon tea if stuck for a gift for someone!

Another lovely breakfast, spoiled a little by the lack of baguettes for the breakfast baguette" and no ham or muffins for the eggs benedict.Other than that delicious and the garden centre is a delight to wander around on a sunny day."
