Dry Fast Damp Proofing (South Wales)

Rhys and his team were extremely professional and did a great job in our dining room. Booking our job was easy and the job was completed in the anticipated timeframe. Damp proofing is always dusty but the boys cleaned up after themselves. Very courteous. Highly recommend.

Update: The damp re-appeared not long after my first review. I have tried to contact them about it to no avail. As a result I feel that I was thoroughly ripped off, and fear the work they did may have caused more harm than good.Original review (was 3 star):Five stars for the work done. They arrived when they said, kept the place clean, got on with the job, and were friendly and polite. The plaster on the treated walls dried out quickly, and still looks great (completely dry) a month+ later.The down side was the lack of professionalism surrounding the payment and guarantee.I made it clear from first contact that I wanted a guarantee backed by a third party, which they said they could provide, but when it came to it I had to nag to get the forms needed. The form they then gave me was for a trust not listed anywhere on the internet and didn't provide any contact details (except an address), so it was very difficult to verify whether this scheme was genuine. Then I had to contact them multiple times to get them to send me the plan of works which was meant to go alongside the guarantee - until finally they sent me a sketch on grid paper with no signature.They asked me to pay by bank transfer to an account for someone in their company who I'd not had any direct contact with. Then they acted all offended while I made efforts to verify at very least the existence of the trust that was purportedly willing to back their guarantee, before sending payment. In the end I payed up before the end of the workday, because I didn't want the guys who did the work to go unpaid - but it all left me with misgivings.

From the very first call Damp Proof south wales were informative and helpful our house needed a full ground floor damp course and at no point did I feel they were only chasing the money I was given genuine honest advice and a plan was made to complete the work on my property ready for sale. The work from start to finish was completed on time and I was kept up to date with the whole process. The team came in and worked cleanly and quickly and had the work complete in no time. Even after care has been second to none will most definitely be recommending these guys to anyone who finds themselves in our situation. If u want fast fair priced professional work from someone with the knowledge and experience to get it done then look no further thank you guys really appreciate the job you did for us

Highly recommend dry fast. We called Wednesday regarding a worry we had in our property in several locations and were lucky enough to have the work done at the weekend. I phoned dry fast to ask them could they give us a quote on a job. However we needed a builder to assess the damage as our extension had been built improperly and the floor was completely wet.The boys at dry fast have us some great advice and put us in contact with someone who would be able to help.Great service I can recommend.
