I can't thank the team enough for the support with my boy since we first joined them and for the compassion and understanding they have shown since he became increasingly unwell and was ultimately PTS. Hannah and Simon looked after me in my distress and my boy through the process with gentle support and understanding. The reception team have been fantastic throughout too.

edit 2: I have now visited another vet with my bunny. we now know that when she walks she dislocates her legs and has been in a lot of pain. when I took her here they told us they pulled at her joints and could see nothing wrong with her legs and gave us painkillers just in case it was arthritis. I do not know how it was missed. I will say that they have been amazing with one of my cats and could not fault them for that.edit: I have been asked to take this review down as I used the word cruel" and because my review "isnt true". we have been given 2 weeks notice to find another vet.they definitely are not well educated on rabbit care.there is a nurse working there who kept telling me my indoor rabbit needed straw bedding when he had sore hocks.my rabbit passed the other day and that nurse was honestly cruel (edit: to humans).on many occasions I have felt judged for when I brought my rabbits in for a groom.my rabbits are my life and I spend most of my time looking after them and looking into their care

Since moving into this area, have taken our dogs several times. Receptionists Always greet you warmly and friendly and have a genuinine interest in your pets. Vets themselves are welcoming knowledgeable and professional. A very good vets and would recommend.

Had to take our cat for standard procedure, and to be microchipped. Her treatment was a bit delayed, but the staff at the vets are very welcoming and friendly, very supportive and informative as to her progress. Overall very happy with the care received, also 2 follow up appointments to check on progress

Vet who dealt with my dog was lovely. Very cheerful, positive and talked to my dig aswell was me. Would like the receptionists to greet me as I walk in. I understand if they are on the phone but if not I have found they don't even look up until they have finished typing on their screen!

Great team and super clean premises

Rutland Veterinary Centre looked after our Bulldog 'Major' since moving to Rutland in 2016. He was then 7 years old. Major passed away suddenly on March 30th 2021, his old heart finally letting him down. He was 12 years 7 months old. A ripe old age, but obviously left us heartbroken with a very large hole in our lives. Major liked visiting the Vets. This was due to the fuss and attention they gave him at the Oakham Surgery, on many occasions in his later years. He also looked forward to the treats. Major particularly liked Simon and all of the lady staff. He liked the ladies. Simon and staff took care of him on his passing with compassion and sympathy, providing the cremation service and the returning of his ashes. Should we ever decide to have another addition to our family we would without doubt use Rutland Veterinary Centre to provide healthcare in the way they did for Major. Greg and Sandra McAllen

Incredible professional and kind staff. They made one of the most difficult moments peaceful and dignified. Forever grateful to the staff for making my dogs last moments so precious. Amber the vet was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend this vets to anyone as they really know what they are doing - 10/10
