AOB recently built my 2.6M x 1.7M Oak Porchway. Their work force were friendly obliging, trustworthy and tidy. Footing and Oak work were completed in 3 days. Abingdon Oak Ltd designed and built an oak-framed double garage, with space for a carpentry workshop at our house in Abingdon in 2022. They are a family firm, led by Nick Faulkner, with a team of skilled carpenters, and in-house groundworks capability, and with established links to local tradesmen for electrical, and roofing etc services. High quality workmanship, and always on hand to discuss and advise on issues that crop up. Nick and his team were not only capable but a pleasant bunch to deal with. We are very pleased with the project. Previously, they had built a timber-framed kitchen extension for friends of ours, and came with excellent references.

Nick and his team were a dream to work with. We had our own ideas about the shape of the oak garden building we wanted, but Nick suggested adding a porch over the front door which we would never have thought of by ourselves. It has really worked. All the people we met were highly skilled, from the CAD technicians to the ground work team and the craftsmen who built it in record time. Abingdon Oak rebuilt our conservatory with a beautiful oak frame, created a utility room extension and built a large porch at our listed barn conversion.All members of the team were kind, patient and very easy to have in our home. They all worked to a high standard and were committed to providing us with what we wanted.We have several other trades on site during the build including kitchen contractors, flooring contractors and a company that was replacing all our other windows. All members of Abingdon Oak worked really well alongside them and were happy to work with them as required.Abingdon Oak have also been very good at any snagging issues that have arisen, although there have not been many.
