Good pub food done well and not overpriced. I came on the Friday of the tall ships festival so maybe not the best time to arrive as I hate plastic glasses but decent service, nice selection and a great view

Absolutely appalling service went for Sunday lunch at 12.45 we were told no meat left but then decided there was. We asked for large and they didn't come large. Food was cold with luke warm gravy pored over the top. Asked us if we wanted it microwaved I'm sorry but I didn't want a ding dinner. Staff could not use the till correctly and we ended up waiting 1 hour for food. We did get a refund on the food but left so disappointed

We sat outside looking over the bay at the stunning views. Could have been florida. Oh and the wainwright ale, exquisite.

Love it here for a definite safe and accepting space to come at any time of day, any day of the week with my dog. Traditional pub food, never had a bad meal yet, huge menu and good prices.Dog menu is lovely and plenty room between tables to get a sage space to sit.Staff have all been lovely and helpful whenever I've been.

A bit disaapointed to be fair. Steak and ale pie was not like they used to be . Very bland . And the nachos were all broken/smashed could not pick them up . Had to use a fork. Too much sauce for so little base . But we did enjoy our visit and will return .

Went for Sunday lunch never been before and didn't know what to expect. Ordered the Beef and it was very nice a decent plate full mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, turnip, Yorkshire pudding with stuffing 2 huge slices of beef with plenty of rich beef gravy. And it tasted lovely.

Food was great for the price. Had the mac'n'cheese with the vegan chicken stores and I was impressed. Great views from the beer garden of the old tall ship in the Dock too.
