Took a pair of Nike trainers in to have a 4 cm stiching work done ( cosmetic) and told it couldn't be done in house and it would have to be sent away at a cost of 35 pounds, when I informed him I had similar work done for 3.50 four weeks prior by his female colleague he became stroppy, decided not to argue and took it to Coventry market, work carried out for four pounds, ps he also resoled my sons school shoes in the summer and they fell off

Don’t just a book by it’s cover, but this shop’s staff judge customer by there appearance and clothes. Being rude and impatient, even doesn’t want to serve. If you don’t want this job, don’t do it. Lots unemployed people outside. Staff just doing nothing but bring negative to customers. Bad service for expensive products.

The shoe repair was completed in a mere five minutes. While the service was efficient and satisfactory, it came at a relatively high cost.

Don’t waste money and time here, it will also ruin your mood! Leave one star cuz there is no 0 star, which this shop totally deserves. Worst service and incredible high price. They could directly rob your money but they give you a Key. Went there couple times, first time made a key that is totally wrong size, when I came with the key and the receipt, staff saying it’s not theirs’, Open your eyes please, It’s says TIMPSON on the receipt, and just one day ago! Second time, changed a battery for 25 pounds! Which only cost 5-7pounds other places. Great people provide great service, do you even know what’s the meaning of this sentence?

I guess I’ll not be coming back to them for any key cutting.I am so disappointed, the key bent in the lock and I luckily managed to get it out of the door lock. It’s now my fault because I didn’t put it in correctly (say the man in the shop). I tried to get it replaced today and he said I have to pay again. The key was cut 10 days ago.Yet they claim quality guaranteed.“ If I have any issues with my newly cut key what should I do?All Timpson keys are guaranteed, please pop it back into the nearest Timpson where we will happily cut you a replacement.”

Only giving one star as I cannot put 0.Awful customer service some of the worst I have ever experienced.The man in this shop totally rude and ignorant.The door was locked upon my arrival to the shop I had a pushchair he unlocked the door and walked off that was the 1st ignorant thing.I then walked into the shop and he said shut the door" as there door was not closed fully not could you shut the door please just "shut the door" I should have turned around and left then.Was then charged £34.00 for a door key (extortionate price) Had to wait a week for the key to return for more ignorant behaviour... I took the key did not say thank you as the man in there is a sorry excuse of a person and left the door open on my way out... shut your own door mate...Will never ever use this place or advise anyone else to use it ever again.I will go to the polite man in Coventry market instead (he was closed the day I went to town else I would not have went to timpsons)Stay away if you don't want someone ruining your day.This man judges people on appearance as someone has said in a other review for here.."

I called into the shop last Sunday and was greeted very nicely . I had some old work shoes where the sole was coming adrift and asked if anything could be done with them apart from binning them. He not only stuck the soles back on but polished them up as well. As for payment all he wanted was a donation in the charity box. Very well done .
