Couldn't fault the waitress really nice young girl. I got a mix grill burger with onion rings and chips everything on that burger wasn't pleasent at al the burger was dry egg was dry the steak thing that was on it was under cooked won't be back absolute joke and use claimed too be the best pub in Scotland (hahaha)

Awesome food! Had the haddock, hand cut chips mushy peas, tartare sauce and realy nice side salad. Crispy batter on the fish, amazing chips. What a gem of a place. A1 service... So glad we stopped in passing ! Thanks so much...defo be back!

Very disappointing experience here yesterday. Service was good, but incredibly slow throughout the day. Starters arrived promptly and were delicious, but the mains took a good 35-40 minutes after this, and arrived lukewarm, bordering on cold.To further compound this, we were handed the bill and asked (albeit politely) to vacate our table at 2:55pm, despite being told when booking that we would have the table until 3:30. The pub was fairly busy, and we had a party of 7, so finding another table in the bar area was tricky and some people were left standing. This would not have been an issue if the food had arrived sooner, as people were still finishing their desserts (including cold coffee) when we had to leave.I generally do not enjoy leaving bad reviews, as I know the staff are working hard and doing their best, but this experience was too disappointing not to share. I doubt we will be returning here for food any time soon.

Just literally left lorimers. Was treating my son for lunch and I have to say that was a really bad experience.Was looking for a nice steak lunch and a few drinks….. was willing to spend around £100 for it.However…… after finishing our first drink pretty quickly and not be asked for another until our dinner was ready. We decided not to buy anymore drinks.We ordered 2 ribeye steaks, which you could not eat because of the grissle. After we said to the waiter he said “yeah we know about it, it is the butchers that supply us”.So overall we spend £50 on a lunch we couldn’t eat because of……. Apparently a butchers fault.Still had to pay full price right enough.
