Alex Jones Dentistry Barnsley

Moved from NHS dentist 3 years ago to Alex Jones. Best decision I ever made. Have not had any problems with my teeth since. I'm totally reassured with the expert advice, quality work carried out by extremely competent, professional and friendly staff.

I can’t give 10 stars so 5 will have to do. I was referred to Barnsley General Hospital by my NHS dentist because they couldn’t take my wisdom tooth out. I was in absolute agony with toothache but was told it would be approximately 3 months before my appointment came through. I couldn’t wait that long so I found Alex Jones Private Dental Practice. Thanks to Drew Winstanley within the space of 2 weeks he examined my teeth, did an X-ray, scan and extracted my wisdom tooth. While I was there I made another appointment for a further tooth extracting and another one filling. This was carried out yesterday with no problem at all. I can’t thank Drew enough along with all the staff. An excellent practice.

I had a filling today with Tristan who was absolutely fantastic. I normally dread going to the dentist but this time, the experience was so much better . I understand he only works one day a week at Barnsley and is covering leave, wish he was a permanent member of the team.The young lady who assisted him was wonderful too. Many thanks to both of you.

Alex is brilliant at making you feel at ease, he is very attentive to your issues and advises the best options for your individual needs.After full arch implants for both upper and lower jaws, Alex undertook an excessive amount of work in difficult circumstances to give me back a complete new outlook. This is all attributed to both his dedication and professionalism to a role he thrives in doing extremely well.I would recommend Alex Jones to anybody who requires dental work brilliantly performed.

I have now had 3 visits and been treated with the utmost care. I rang them with a problem tooth and was seen the same day. Their experience and treatment is second to none and look forward to the completion of my treatment within this practice.

Helpful staff who ease any worries or nerves you may have with their friendly manner and care. I’ve never had injections in my gum as easy and less painfully as when Laura did this, she was excellent at talking me through this and using breathing techniques. My initial consultation with Alex was also very easy, relaxed and quickly found a resolution to my problem. Very impressed with this dental service so far.

Had 2 great experiences at Alex Jones, first consultation was very relaxed and educational. My hygiene appointment with Laura was fab, no judgement just giving facts, helpful tips on having healthier gums and teeth. I’ve adopted this advice into my daily routine and I’m sure I’ll see the benefits next time I visit.

Excellent care, and extremely professional, if anybody is thinking of any kind of dental work Alex Jones Dentistry has to be the place to go. The whole team from reception to the actual surgery and the after care are absolutely amazing. And on a personal note, Alex is quite possibly the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure to meet.So congratulations to all the team you are all fabulous.
