Watson Fuels (Wigan)

Last month they'd of got 5 stars as I've used them for 3 years to supply our pub/b&b.Ordered 500 1ltr on monday 16.01.23...Promised delivery on weds 18th.... failed Promised thurs 19th... failedBeen without oil and heating since Tues 17th with vulnerable people in the building.....First excuse.... the driver thought he couldn't get to you???Second excuse....Safety warning issued due to snow.... our main route is clear with hgvs and artics presently driving by.... even the bin men have managed to get here.....So WATSONS fuels, we have now parted ways shame i can't say its been a healthy business relationship....BTWCrown oil ' WILL DELIVER TO US TOMORROW GUARANTEED...Very very sad state of affairs Watsons.

Called both stoke and Wigan, neither even bothered to answer the phone. Judging by the reviews it’s a blessing.

WATSON'S FUEL OF WIGAN What an incompetent and unprofessional outfit. Oil ordered 16 days ago...driver 'apparently' attempted delivery at 8:26 this morning. He couldn't get down a road that the coal lorry and bin wagon have been up and down. Didn't come to the door, didn't phone, turned around and drove home. I phoned at 9am to enquire about delivery...was told that wouldn't now happen until January 2nd. Unbelievable how little these people care about customers. Now without heat/hot water over a cold, bank holiday weekend. Don't deserve to be in business.

This company is totally useless. They cannot deliver fuel. Don’t waste your time with them. Only gave 1 star because I can’t give zero on the reviews.

Absolutely disgraceful service- ordered oil last week and checked several times to confirm delivery would be before Tuesday as I was running low on fuel. Told it would definitely be in time so paid my money in good faith! No fuel on Tuesday when I got home from work so I rang to be told they had been having problems and delivery would be Thursday! I have had to turn off my boiler so we now have no heating and hot water. I could have a refund but that takes 3 to 5 days to get money back in my account so how can a customer order elsewhere? I would say AVOID USING THIS COMPANY - they do not fulfill their commitments - this is the second and last time I will use them. If they had communicated with me I would have had the chance to economise my fuel usage over the weekend but alas they can’t be bothered to let customers know - turn up when it pleases them- Disgusting!!

Still waiting for delivery should have been today the 19th October 2021,rang customer service,blamed shortage of drivers, makes a change from covid or Brexit
