Terrible customer service when my brother in law was purchasing a lamp which he was told belonged to a vendor who rented space in the shop. Firstly he was told the purchase couldn't be paid for by card, that was not a problem. However, the lady with long hair who served him started chatting to someone else mid-way through which by most peoples standards falls way short of good manners. No offer was made to wrap the lamp and my brother in law was left to take the shade off the base to make it easier to transport home. The assistant who was serving me was excellent and most helpful. She actually wrapped the base of the lamp even though she had not served my brother in law. My husband and I visit Beauly regularly and have found the service in the shops and hotels to be excellent. Hoever we will not be visiting this shop again. It was obvious we were not locals as 3 of our group have West Midland accents. I bought a clock so the staff will know exactly who we are. I am sure the person who rents space in that shop would not be very pleased to know that customers buying their goods are treated so poorly.

I think I lost my ID card from Argentina in your beautifull store, I bought a pair of gloves and I might have dropped my ID when I took my card from my pocket
