Now called Rheged Cafe, within the visitors centre along with shops, cinema and the art gallery. There is much to see and do here and the welcome & service you will receive from all who work here is outstanding. If I was to rate my visit out if 10, it would be borderline 11.

No idea if I'm in the cafe pod or not. Couldn't find the entrance. Found a cafe that turned out to be delicatessen and a bar that turned out to be the cafe. Fancied the soup of the day but couldn't discover what that was as there was no sign.... Asked a member of staff. It was sweet potato and cabbage so chose a scone. Was asked if we had chosen the table. Nothing said that we had to choose a table first and there were no numbers on tables anyway. A most confusing experience. Hot chocolate lovely, scones a bit dry. Certainly wouldn't pay £14.50 to eat a main course here.

隠れた名店。サミュエルスミスビールの品揃えが素晴らしい。テイクアウトのパイ、ケーキ類も美味しい。特にソーセージロールは美味。湖水地方へドライブするなら、立ち寄る価値あり。

Absolutely love this well set out, elegant service station. Never seen such a modern and beautiful stop with amazing food and quaint shops, a cinema with fabulous service and a lovely open , yet cosy, atmosphere

The menu could have been bigger. The cakes had salt on that wasn't that nice. The pizza's were drowned in lemon juice which wasn't that nice. The soup was chewy in a good way. They didn't have any well-branded drinks. Overall the atmosphere was nice, staff were friendly, service was quick, the table was clean.

We had an amazing experience at the gas station. Good experience overall and the staff was really helpful in making the appropriate sandwich choice and suggested us as well.Good food options and clean place.
