A really nice care home, new, with all the mod cons you would expect. A great relaxed atmosphere but the big positive are the staff. Well done guys xx

My mother came to Barley View shortly after it opened. She had wanted to retain her independence at her own home, but realised that she could no longer cope. The management and staff were very warm and welcoming and the emphasis was always on the fact that this was HER home.The building is well designed, light and airy and well decorated. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with pictures, photographs and ornaments. There are varied activities planned, in which residents are encouraged to participate but there is no pressure to join in.The real plus is the staff. They are professional , committed and go above and beyond to ensure that their residents are well cared for - clean, well dressed, hair styled, jewellery chosen and perfume applied. It gives me great peace of mind to know that mum is safe, cared for and valued and I would have no hesitation in recommending Barley View.

Just an amazing place

My mum went into Barley View for a weeks respite care after Christmas. As a family we were all struggling to know how to help mum the best we could. With the support from staff and management who linked us into services, mum was able to have a weeks rest and then to return home. I cannot thank everyone enough. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff there are loving, caring and hard working. Thank you for looking after my mum.
