This award winning Butchers is well worth a detour. Facing the Esso fuel station and Queens Park. Superb sausages. I'll certainly become a regular customer.

Was working nearby today and dropped in for a couple of pasties. I have eaten a lot of pasties in my time but Mr Finch has opened my eyes to just how good they should be. Perfectly seasoned with good quality meat and potatoes. I will be making a visit whenever possible going forward everything is made by hand and and looks phenomenal theres so much more to try in the future! Thankyou

Recently had my hair cut at The Gentleman Barbers next door and I noticed that the staff have breakfast baps from Craig Finch. I entered the butchers just before 12 and had to wait 5-10mins for my sausage and bacon bap due to the equipment being switched off - which was not a problem. The bacon and sausage was very nice, I wish I had asked to have my bacon abit more well done as I prefer it crispy as sometimes the fat can be too chewy and horrible, but was cooked alright for my liking. Reasonably priced at £2.50. Nice selection of meats, cheese, sauces, soft drinks and pastry items. The bap itself was a crusty hard cob, I prefer a softer bap. Overall it was nice. Was tempted to have a drink, but the soft drinks aren’t refrigerated. Will try the patties next time I go to the barbers

Love Craig's sausages. Bought in bulk today for US visitors. They had none made, but made me some up fresh. Great service.

High quality and honest produce.

Have been going here regularly for the past 5 years. The sausages are next level as are the burgers. Recently been introduced to the minced beef kebabs and spicy chicken kebabs which are excellent also.

Best sausage roll ever, the meat is top draw also. Highly recommend

Went in here for some eggs, 6 for £1.50 which was very reasonably priced and good quality too.Decided to try some steaks this time so I asked for sirloin steak. The butcher wasn't very friendly but grunted something at me. He told me it would be £17-20 for two steaks. Considering these steaks were under an inch thick. I was very disappointed with the price as I'd get alot more and thicker cuts of sirloin steak the supermarket. When I asked about the price the butcher became arrogant and started to patronise me.Now I can fully understand why people go to the supermarket, instead of supporting their local butchers.
